Today, Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a significant decline with a double-digit drop of 10.83 points, closing at 2,030.86 points. The total turnover in NEPSE stood at NPR 2.23 billion. Out of the traded companies, 51 saw an increase in their share prices, while 188 experienced a decrease. Six companies maintained stable share prices.
Two companies, namely Sarbottam Cement Limited and Himalayan 80-20, observed a notable surge in their share prices, triggering a positive circuit breaker. Conversely, Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited witnessed a significant decline of 5.66% in its share price.
Among the trading companies, Shubham Cement Limited recorded the highest turnover, amounting to NPR 97.2 million. Overall, the market experienced fluctuations, with certain companies registering gains and losses, reflecting the volatility in the Nepalese stock market.
