वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा ठगीबारे सरकारको कडा कदमः एकैदिन १९ विरुद्ध पक्राउ पुर्जी, २५ नयाँ मुद्दा दर्ताGovernment Takes Tough Action Against Foreign Employment Scams: 19 Arrest Warrants Issued, 25 New Cases Filed in a Day
वैदेशिक रोजगारीका नाममा सोझासाझा श्रमिकलाई ठग्ने र कानुन उल्लंघन गर्नेहरूमाथि सरकारले आफ्नो निगरानी र कारबाहीलाई तीव्र बनाएको छ । वैदेशिक रोजगार विभागले सार्वजनिक गरेको पछिल्लो विवरणले ठगीमा संलग्नहरूमाथि सरकार कडा रूपमा प्रस्तुत भएको छ ।
विभागको मुद्दा तथा अनुसन्धान शाखाले मिति २०८३/०३/१९ गते मात्रै वैदेशिक रोजगारीमा ठगी गरेको आरोपमा २५ वटा नयाँ मुद्दा दर्ता गरेको छ । कारबाहीलाई कडा बनाउँदै विभागले आजै ८ जना अभियुक्तलाई पक्राउ गरी उपस्थित गराएको छ भने फरार रहेका अन्य १९ जना विरुद्ध पक्राउ पुर्जी जारी गरेको छ ।
म्यानपावर कम्पनीहरूको गतिविधिमाथि पनि सरकारले कडा नजर राखेको छ । संस्था अनुगमन शाखाले आज ३ वटा म्यानपावर कम्पनीलाई विभिन्न विषयमा पत्राचार गर्दै सचेत गराएको छ । विभागले ४७ वटा म्यानपावर कम्पनी र ७ वटा पूर्व प्रस्थान अभिमुखीकरण तालिम प्रदायक संस्था (पिडिओटी) को नवीकरण गरे पनि उनीहरूको कार्यशैलीमाथि निरन्तर अनुगमन भइरहेको छ ।
पीडितको उद्धार र राहतमा सक्रियता ठगीमा परेका र समस्यामा परेका श्रमिकहरूको हकमा सरकारले आजै २ जनाको उद्धार गरेको छ भने ५ वटा उजुरीको फछ्र्यौट गरेको छ । श्रमिकलाई विदेशमा नै सम्झौता बमोजिमको सेवा सुविधा दिलाउन विभागले २ वटा ठोस प्रतिबद्धता समेत प्राप्त गरेको छ । पीडितलाई न्याय दिलाउने क्रममा ८ पटक दुईपक्षीय छलफल गरिएको र १ जनालाई क्षतिपूर्ति उपलब्ध गराइएको छ ।
सरकारले श्रमिकका गुनासोलाई प्राथमिकतामा राख्दै ‘हेलो सरकार’ मार्फत प्राप्त ९ वटा गुनासोमध्ये ५ वटाको तत्काल समाधान गरेको छ । विभागको कल सेन्टरमा प्राप्त ४६ वटा गुनासोमध्ये ४४ वटाको तत्काल समाधान गरिएको छ, जसले पीडितको समस्या सम्बोधन गर्न सरकारी संयन्त्र कति सक्रिय छ भन्ने पुष्टि गर्दछ ।
सरकारले वैदेशिक रोजगारीलाई सुरक्षित र मर्यादित बनाउन कुनै पनि कसर बाँकी नराख्ने र श्रमिक ठग्ने जोकोहीलाई पनि कानुनको कठघरामा उभ्याउने कडा चेतावनी दिएको छ ।
The government has intensified its surveillance and action against those who cheat and violate laws in the name of foreign employment. The latest information released by the Department of Foreign Employment shows that the government is taking tough action against those involved in scams.
The department's case and investigation branch has filed 25 new cases against those accused of cheating in foreign employment on the date of 2083/03/19 alone. The department has also arrested 8 suspects and presented them, while issuing arrest warrants against 19 others who are on the run.
The government is also keeping a close eye on the activities of manpower companies. The institution monitoring branch has warned 3 manpower companies today through correspondence on various subjects. The department has renewed 47 manpower companies and 7 pre-departure orientation training providers (PDOT), but their work style is being constantly monitored.
The government has also been proactive in rescuing and relieving victims. The government has rescued 2 people today and settled 5 complaints. The department has also obtained 2 solid commitments to provide services to workers abroad as per the agreement. In an effort to provide justice to the victims, 8 bilateral discussions have been held and 1 person has been provided with compensation.
The government has given priority to the complaints of workers and has immediately resolved 5 out of 9 complaints received through 'Hello Government'. The department's call center has also resolved 44 out of 46 complaints, which confirms how active the government mechanism is in addressing the problems of the victims.
The government has warned that it will not spare any effort to make foreign employment safe and dignified, and will also bring those who cheat workers to justice.
