नेपालको मन्त्रिपरिषद् बैठकले आइतबार २० मिलियन अमेरिकी डलर नगद अनुदान स्वीकार गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। यो अनुदानको सम्झौता गर्न अर्थ मन्त्रालयका सचिवलाई अधिकार दिने निर्णय गरिएको छ। यो कदमले नेपालले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय आर्थिक सहयोगमार्फत आर्थिक विकास र पूर्वाधार निर्माणलाई प्राथमिकता दिइरहेको संकेत गर्छ।
नेपाल-चीन सम्बन्धमा नयाँ उचाइ
चीनबाट प्राप्त ३०० मिलियन आरएमबी (लगभग ४१ मिलियन अमेरिकी डलर) बराबरको आर्थिक तथा प्राविधिक सहयोग सम्झौतामा पनि मन्त्रिपरिषद्ले स्वीकृति दिएको छ। यो निर्णय प्रधानमन्त्री केपी शर्मा ओलीको आगामी चीन भ्रमणलाई केन्द्रमा राखेर गरिएको हो। डिसेम्बर २ देखि ५ सम्म चीन भ्रमण गर्ने क्रममा यी सम्झौताहरुले दुई देशबीचको कूटनीतिक सम्बन्धलाई थप बलियो बनाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
भ्रमणका क्रममा काठमाडौं चक्रपथ सुधार (चौथो चरण), अरनिको राजमार्ग सुधार, हिल्सा–सिमीकोट सडक आयोजना, र कोरोला नाकामा पूर्वाधार विकास लगायतका परियोजनाहरुमा सम्झौता हुने सम्भावना छ। यी योजनाले नेपाल र चीनबीचको व्यापार र यातायात सञ्जाललाई प्रभावकारी बनाउने लक्ष्य राखिएको छ।
सार्वजनिक सेवा र प्रविधिमा प्रगति
बैठकले सार्वजनिक सेवा प्रसारण संस्था (रेडियो नेपाल र नेपाल टेलिभिजन) र चाइना मिडिया ग्रुप (सीएमजी) बीच हुने समझदारी पत्रलाई पनि स्वीकृत गरेको छ। यो सहकार्यले दुई देशबीचको सांस्कृतिक र प्राविधिक आदानप्रदानलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
यस्तै, चिनियाँ स्वयंसेवी शिक्षक परिचालन गरेर नेपालमा चिनियाँ भाषा सिकाउने तालिम कार्यक्रम पनि स्वीकृत भएको छ। यो कार्यक्रमले दुई देशबीचको सांस्कृतिक र शैक्षिक सम्बन्धलाई थप सुदृढ गर्नेछ।
स्वास्थ्य र यातायातमा नयाँ सम्भावना
प्रधानमन्त्री ओलीको भ्रमणले बीपी कोइराला क्यान्सर अस्पताल, चितवनमा बोन म्यारो प्रत्यारोपण उपचार सुरु गर्ने समझौतामा पनि मद्दत पुर्याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। यो कदमले स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा ठूलो प्रभाव पार्नेछ र नेपाली बिरामीलाई देशभित्रै उपचारको सुविधा उपलब्ध गराउनेछ।
यस्तै, १०० विद्युतीय गाडी, १०० प्रहरी भ्यान, ५० विद्यालय बस र ५० एम्बुलेन्स खरिदसम्बन्धी छलफल पनि भइरहेको छ। यसले शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य र सार्वजनिक सेवा क्षेत्रको आधुनिकीकरणमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्याउनेछ।

The agreement for this grant was greenlit along with the authority to finalize and sign the exchange letter delegated to the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. Advancing Public Services and Technology
The Cabinet’s decisions extend beyond economic ties, reflecting Nepal's emphasis on technological and educational advancement. It approved an MoU between Nepal's public service broadcasters (Radio Nepal and Nepal Television) and China Media Group. This collaboration is expected to promote cultural exchange and technological sharing in media, fostering closer ties between the two nations.
Additionally, Nepal and China have reached an agreement to deploy Chinese volunteer teachers for language training, with the Ministry of Education tasked with its implementation. This program signals Nepal’s intention to strengthen cultural and educational bridges with China, ensuring linguistic and technical capabilities align with the evolving bilateral relationship.
Health and Transport Prospects
One of the standout outcomes expected from PM Oli's visit is the establishment of bone marrow transplant services at BP Koirala Cancer Hospital in Chitwan. This move is set to revolutionize healthcare in Nepal, addressing critical medical needs domestically rather than requiring patients to seek treatment abroad.
On the transport front, discussions are underway for procuring 100 electric vehicles, 100 police vans, 50 school buses, and 50 ambulances. These initiatives align with Nepal's sustainability goals and efforts to modernize public services, including education and health.
