नेपाल सरकारको सार्वजनिक ऋण व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयले सोमबार १३ अर्ब ५० करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको ट्रेजरी बिल बोलकबोल गर्ने भएको छ। यो बोलकबोल नेपाल सरकारको राष्ट्र ऋण बोलकबोल तालिका अनुसार आयोजना गरिएको हो।
बोलकबोलको विवरण:
नयाँ ट्रेजरी बिल: ५ अर्ब रुपैयाँ बराबरको २८ दिन अवधिको नयाँ (फ्रेंस) ट्रेजरी बिल बोलकबोल हुनेछ।
नवीकरणका लागि ट्रेजरी बिल: ८ अर्ब ५० करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको ट्रेजरी बिल नवीकरणका लागि बोलकबोल हुनेछ।
बोलकबोलको समय: आज विहान १० बजेदेखि दिउँसो ३ बजेसम्म अनलाइन माध्यमबाट बोलकबोलमा सहभागी हुन सकिनेछ।
निष्कासनको मिति: सोमबार बोलकबोल हुने ट्रेजरी बिल मंगलबार निष्कासन हुनेछ।
ट्रेजरी बिलको ब्याजदरमा गिरावट:
बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूमा लगानी योग्य पुँजी पर्याप्त भएपछि ट्रेजरी बिलको ब्याजदरमा गिरावट आएको हो।
हाल सबै प्रकारका ट्रेजरी बिलको ब्याजदर ३ प्रतिशत भन्दा तल नै रहेको छ।
१७ भदौमा भएको बोलकबोलमा २८ दिन अवधिको ट्रेजरी बिलको औसत डिस्काउन्ट दर २.९६४२ प्रतिशत थियो भने ९१ दिन अवधिको २.९५४५ प्रतिशत, १८२ दिन अवधिको २.९९२३ प्रतिशत र ३६४ दिन अवधिको ३.०२९८ प्रतिशत थियो।
आन्तरिक ऋण संकलनको योजना:
सरकारले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष सुरु भए यता ९१ दिने, १८२ दिने, र ३६४ दिने ट्रेजरी बिलको बोलकबोल मार्फत १५ अर्ब आन्तरिक ऋण उठाइसकेको छ। असोज मसान्तसम्म थप २० अर्बको ट्रेजरी बिल जारी गर्ने सरकारको कार्यतालिका रहेको छ।
ट्रेजरी बिल के हो?
ट्रेजरी बिल एक वर्ष वा एक वर्षभन्दा कम अवधिका अल्पकालीन सरकारी ऋणपत्र हुन्, जुन सरकारलाई आवश्यक पर्ने अल्पकालीन अवधि (बढीमा एक वर्ष) को स्रोत जुटाउन बिक्री गरिन्छ।
ट्रेजरी बिलहरू २८ दिने, ९१ दिने, १८२ दिने, र ३६४ दिने गरी चार प्रकारका हुन्छन्।
यी बिलहरू खुला बजारमा केन्द्रीय बैंकले तरलता व्यवस्थापन गर्न, र ब्याजदरलाई प्रभाव पार्न प्रयोग गरिन्छ।
सरकारले अल्पकालीन, मध्यमकालीन, र दीर्घकालीन आन्तरिक ऋण संकलनका लागि विभिन्न उपकरणहरू जारी गर्छ।
The Public Debt Management Office of the Nepal Government is set to auction treasury bills worth NPR 13.5 billion on Monday. This auction is being conducted according to the Nepal Government's national debt auction schedule.
Auction Details:
New Treasury Bill: An auction for a new (fresh) treasury bill worth NPR 5 billion with a 28-day maturity period will be conducted.
Renewal Treasury Bill: An auction for the renewal of treasury bills worth NPR 8.5 billion will also be held.
Auction Time: The auction will take place online from 10 am to 3 pm today.
Issuance Date: The treasury bills auctioned on Monday will be issued on Tuesday.
Decline in Treasury Bill Interest Rates:
Interest rates on treasury bills have declined due to the sufficient investable capital in banks and financial institutions. Currently, the interest rates for all types of treasury bills are below 3%.
On September 1 (Bhadra 17), the average discount rate for a 28-day treasury bill was 2.9642%, for a 91-day bill was 2.9545%, for a 182-day bill was 2.9923%, and for a 364-day bill was 3.0298%.
Plan for Internal Debt Collection:
Since the beginning of the current fiscal year, the government has raised NPR 15 billion in internal debt through the auction of 91-day, 182-day, and 364-day treasury bills. The government's schedule includes issuing an additional NPR 20 billion worth of treasury bills by the end of October (Asoj).
What are Treasury Bills?
Treasury bills are short-term government securities with maturities of one year or less, issued to raise short-term funds required by the government (up to a maximum of one year). There are four types of treasury bills: 28-day, 91-day, 182-day, and 364-day. These bills are used by the central bank in the open market to manage liquidity and influence interest rates. The government issues various instruments for short-term, medium-term, and long-term internal debt collection.
