US Dollar Value Drops Slightly, New Exchange Rates Announced

The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the new exchange rates for foreign currencies today. According to the bank, the buying rate for the US Dollar is set at NPR 137.89 and the selling rate at NPR 138.49. This reflects a slight decrease compared to yesterday, when the buying rate was NPR 138.32 and the selling rate was NPR 138.92.
The exchange rates for other international currencies have also been updated. The buying rate for the Euro is NPR 142.12 and the selling rate is NPR 142.74, while the Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 85.56 and a selling rate of NPR 85.93. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 96.14 and the selling rate is NPR 96.56. Similarly, the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 100.89 and a selling rate of NPR 100.33.
Additionally, the exchange rates for the Saudi Riyal, Qatari Riyal, UAE Dirham, and other currencies have been determined. The buying rate for the Saudi Riyal is NPR 36.74 and the selling rate is NPR 36.90, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.83 and a selling rate of NPR 37.99. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 37.54 and a selling rate of NPR 37.70.
Exchange rates for currencies like the Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, and Omani Rial have also been set. The buying rate for the Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 4,446.77 and the selling rate is NPR 4,448.72. The Bahraini Dinar’s buying rate is NPR 3,365.81 and the selling rate is NPR 3,367.40, while the Omani Rial has a buying rate of NPR 3,358.16 and a selling rate of NPR 3,359.71.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. In addition, the rates set by commercial banks will be updated on the central bank’s website.
