Preparations for the budget session, which will begin on 28th Baisakh, have been completed.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, the Secretariat has completed all internal management and preparation work for the session.
In the session, the government's policies and programs and budget for the next financial year will be presented, as well as the financial, appropriation and national debt collection bill.
According to the constitutional provisions, the government must present the estimated statement of annual income and expenditure on the 15th of June every year, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the President has called a meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
In the past, 'pre-budget' discussions were held, but this year, the priorities and principles of the budget have already been completed in the winter session itself.
The winter session of the Parliament ended after the main opposition party Nepali Congress blocked the Parliament for a long time demanding the formation of a parliamentary committee to investigate the embezzlement of people's savings by various cooperatives.
The Congress has been warning of disrupting the budget session as well.
