बाफिया र धितोपत्र विधेयक चाँडो पारित गर्नुपर्ने: अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलBAFIA and Securities Bills Need to be Passed Quickly: Finance Minister Paudel
उपप्रधानमन्त्री तथा अर्थमन्त्री विष्णुप्रसाद पौडेलले बैंक र वित्तीय संस्थासम्बन्धी (पहिलो संशोधन) विधेयक, २०८० (बाफिया) र धितोपत्रसम्बन्धी (पहिलो संशोधन) विधेयक, २०८१ लाई संसदबाट चाँडो पारित गरेर कार्यान्वयनमा ल्याउनुपर्ने आवश्यकता औँल्याएका छन्। आजको अर्थ समितिको बैठकमा पौडेलले यी विधेयकहरूको छिटो छलफल गरेर प्रतिनिधिसभामा पठाउनुपर्ने बताए। उनले भने, “भन्सार विधेयकसँगै यी विधेयकहरूको छलफल चाँडो टुङ्ग्याएर चैत मसान्तभित्र प्रतिनिधिसभामा पुग्नेछ भन्ने आशा राख्दछु।”
पौडेलले कानुन निर्माणको प्रक्रियामा ढिलाइ भएकाले जनस्तरबाट आलोचना भएको कुरा पनि स्वीकार गरे। उनले थपे, “सरकारको ध्यान यसमा छ र राष्ट्रिय आवश्यकताका आधारमा प्राथमिक कानुन निर्माणमा शीघ्रता दिनुपर्नेछ।” यसैगरी, भन्सारसम्बन्धी विधेयकमा पनि व्यापारीहरूको सहजीकरण र भन्सार प्रक्रिया सुधारको प्रस्ताव गरिएका छन्।
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Vishnu Prasad Paudel has emphasized the need to quickly pass and implement the Bank and Financial Institutions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080 (BAFIA) and the Securities (First Amendment) Bill, 2081 in Parliament. In today's meeting of the Finance Committee, Paudel urged that the discussions on these bills be concluded promptly and presented in the House of Representatives. He stated, "Along with the Customs Bill, I expect the discussions on these bills to be completed quickly and reach the House by the end of Chait."
Paudel also acknowledged public criticism regarding the slow pace of lawmaking and stated, "The government is aware of this, and there is a need to expedite the process of enacting priority laws based on national requirements." Similarly, the Customs Bill proposes improvements in the facilitation of trade and the customs process.
