Commercial Banks Disburse NPR 225 Billion in Real Estate Loans by July

As of the first month of the current fiscal year, commercial banks in Nepal have disbursed a significant amount of loans to the real estate sector. According to data released by the Nepal Rastra Bank, a total of NPR 224.54 billion has been disbursed by 20 commercial banks into the real estate market.

• Nepal Investment Mega Bank: Following NIC Asia, Nepal Investment Mega Bank has disbursed NPR 24.86 billion, making up 11.07% of the total loans.

• Nabil Bank: Nabil Bank ranks third, with a disbursement of NPR 23.51 billion, representing 10.47% of the total real estate loans.

Other Notable Banks:

• Prime Commercial Bank: Fourth in rank, with a disbursement of NPR 18.99 billion.

• Global IME Bank: NPR 15.73 billion.
