काठमाडौं — डिम्याट खाताको वार्षिक नवीकरण शुल्क नबुझाएका लगानीकर्ताको खाता साउन १६ गतेदेखि रोक्का हुने भएको छ। सीडीएस एन्ड क्लियरिङ लिमिटेड (सीडीएससी) ले साउन १५ भित्र शुल्क बुझाउन आग्रह गरेको छ।
तोकिएको समयभित्र नवीकरण नगरेका खातालाई प्रणालीबाट रोक्का गरिने सीडीएससीले जनाएको छ। खाता रोक्का भएपछि सेयर हस्तान्तरण, दोस्रो बजार कारोबार तथा सार्वजनिक निष्कासनमा आवेदन दिन समस्या हुन सक्छ।
सामान्यतया डिम्याट खाताको वार्षिक शुल्क असार मसान्तभित्र बुझाउनुपर्ने व्यवस्था छ। यस वर्ष भने लगानीकर्ताको सुविधाका लागि म्याद साउन १५ सम्म थपिएको हो।
डिम्याट खाता नवीकरणका लागि वार्षिक १०० रुपैयाँ तिर्नुपर्छ। मेरोसेयर सेवा प्रयोग गर्नेले थप ५० रुपैयाँ वार्षिक शुल्क बुझाउनुपर्ने व्यवस्था छ।
सीडीएससीका अनुसार हाल देशभर डिम्याट खाताको संख्या ८० लाख ९ हजार ६२३ पुगेको छ भने मेरोसेयरका सक्रिय प्रयोगकर्ता ५१ लाख ४८ हजार ८९४ छन्।
लगानीकर्ताले मेरोसेयरमै रहेको ‘Renew Account’ विकल्पमार्फत अनलाइन भुक्तानी गरी खाता नवीकरण गर्न सक्छन्। इसेवा, खल्ती, प्रभु पे, आईएमई पे र कनेक्ट आईपीएसलगायतका डिजिटल माध्यमबाट शुल्क तिर्न सकिने व्यवस्था छ।
सीडीएससीले अन्तिम समयसम्म नपर्खी समयमै शुल्क बुझाएर खाता सक्रिय राख्न लगानीकर्तालाई आग्रह गरेको छ।
Kathmandu — Investors who fail to pay the annual renewal fee for their demat accounts by Shrawan 15 will have their accounts frozen from Shrawan 16, according to CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC).
CDSC has urged investors to clear the required fee within the deadline. Accounts that are not renewed on time will be restricted in the system.
Once a demat account is frozen, investors may face difficulties in transferring shares, settling secondary-market transactions and applying for public share issues.
Normally, the annual maintenance fee must be paid by the end of the fiscal year. This year, however, the deadline has been extended until Shrawan 15 for the convenience of investors.
Demat account holders are required to pay an annual renewal fee of Rs 100. Investors using the MeroShare service must pay an additional Rs 50 per year.
According to CDSC, the number of demat accounts in Nepal has reached 8,009,623, while active MeroShare users stand at 5,148,894.
Investors can renew their accounts online through the MeroShare platform by selecting the “Renew Account” option under account information.
Payments can be made through digital platforms including eSewa, Khalti, PrabhuPay, IME Pay and connectIPS.
CDSC has advised investors not to wait until the final day and to complete the renewal process early to keep their accounts active.
