Dordi Khola Hydropower to Issue NPR 1.05 Billion in Rights Shares

Dordi Khola Hydropower Limited (DORDI) will commence the issuance and sale of rights shares starting Chaitra 19, 2081 (April 1, 2025). The company plans to issue rights shares at a 1:1 ratio, equivalent to 100% of its current paid-up capital of NPR 1.05 billion. This involves issuing 10.54 million shares at NPR 100 each. Shareholders registered with NEPSE by Falgun 13, 2081, can apply until Baishakh 8, 2082. Post-issuance, the company’s paid-up capital will reach NPR 2.10 billion.

The collected funds will be used to partially repay loans from Sanima Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, and others. Sanima Capital is the issue manager, and applications can be submitted via ASBA or ‘Mero Share.’ ICRA Nepal has rated the company ‘ICRA NP Issuer Rating B+,’ indicating high financial risk.
