Gold prices have set a new record today. On Friday, the price of gold increased by NPR 1,000 per tola, reaching an all-time high. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, Fine Gold is being traded at NPR 145,000 per tola and Tejabi Gold at NPR 144,300 per tola.
On Thursday, Fine Gold was traded at NPR 144,000 per tola, and Tejabi Gold at NPR 143,300 per tola. This surge broke the previous record, surpassing the earlier high set on Tuesday when the price reached NPR 142,700 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also increased on Friday, with an increase of NPR 50 per tola. Silver is now being traded at NPR 1,900 per tola, up from NPR 1,850 per tola on Thursday.
