इन्धनको मूल्य घटेसँगै बजार मूल्य घटाउन सरकारको आग्रहGovernment Urges to Reduce Market Prices with Decrease in Fuel Prices
उद्योग, वाणिज्य तथा आपूर्ति मन्त्री गौरिकुमारी यादवको निर्देशनपछि वाणिज्य, आपूर्ति तथा उपभोक्ता संरक्षण विभागले इन्धनको मूल्य घटेको प्रभाव उपभोग्य वस्तु तथा सेवाको मूल्यमा पनि देखिनुपर्ने भन्दै व्यवसायीलाई मूल्य समायोजन गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ।
विभागले शुक्रबार जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिअनुसार मध्यपूर्वको तनावका कारण बढेको इन्धनको मूल्य सामान्य अवस्थामा फर्किएपछि नेपाल आयल निगम ले असार १६ गतेदेखि लागू हुने गरी इन्धनको मूल्य घटाएको छ।
त्यसअनुसार उपभोक्ताले प्रत्यक्ष राहत पाउने गरी बजारमा वस्तु तथा सेवाको मूल्य पनि घटाउन विभागले अनुरोध गरेको हो।
मन्त्री यादवले इन्धनको मूल्य घटेको लाभ आम उपभोक्तासम्म पुग्नुपर्ने भन्दै कृत्रिम मूल्यवृद्धि रोक्न तथा अत्यावश्यक वस्तु र सेवा सुपथ मूल्यमा उपलब्ध गराउन विभागलाई आवश्यक पहल गर्न निर्देशन दिएकी छन्।
सोही निर्देशनअनुसार विभागले खाद्यान्नलगायत सबै उपभोग्य वस्तु तथा सेवा उचित मूल्यमा उपलब्ध गराउन विक्रेता, व्यवसायी, ढुवानी व्यवसायी तथा सेवा प्रदायकलाई आग्रह गरेको छ।
विभागले उपभोक्ता संरक्षण ऐन, २०७५ अनुसार उपभोक्ताको अधिकार संरक्षण गर्नु सबै सरोकारवालाको साझा दायित्व भएको उल्लेख गर्दै इन्धनको मूल्य घटेको प्रभाव बजार मूल्यमा समेत देखिने गरी जिम्मेवार भूमिका निर्वाह गर्न सबै पक्षसँग अनुरोध गरेको छ।
The Department of Commerce, Supply, and Consumer Protection has urged businesses to adjust prices following the decrease in fuel prices, as per the instructions of Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Supply Gaurikumari Yadav.
The department issued a statement on Friday stating that the Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced fuel prices, effective from Asar 16, after the fuel prices that had increased due to tensions in the Middle East returned to normal.
Accordingly, the department has requested that the market prices of goods and services also be reduced so that consumers can get direct relief.
Minister Yadav has instructed the department to take necessary steps to prevent artificial price hikes and to make essential goods and services available at reasonable prices, so that the benefits of the reduction in fuel prices reach the general consumers.
Following the same instructions, the department has urged sellers, traders, transporters, and service providers to make all consumer goods and services available at fair prices.
The department has stated that it is the shared responsibility of all stakeholders to protect the rights of consumers as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2018, and has requested all parties to play a responsible role in ensuring that the impact of the reduction in fuel prices is also reflected in market prices.
