Himalaya Power's 12th AGM Approves 50% Rights Issue

The 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Himalaya Power Partner Limited, held on January 13 (Poush 29), has approved the issuance of a 50% rights share to its shareholders.
Earlier, during the 67th board meeting held on December 22 (Poush 7), the company had decided not to distribute cash or bonus dividends for the fiscal year 2080/81. Instead, the company announced the issuance of 1:0.5 rights shares, which has now been ratified by the AGM.
The company’s current paid-up capital stands at NPR 1.06 billion. After the issuance of the rights shares, the paid-up capital is expected to increase, strengthening the company’s financial position.
The AGM also discussed other significant matters, with the company expressing its commitment to enhancing project efficiency and ensuring long-term benefits for its shareholders.
