हिमालयन लाइफ इन्स्योरेन्स कम्पनी लिमिटेडले आफ्ना शेयरधनीलाई १४ प्रतिशत बोनस शेयर वितरण गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। माघ ४ गते बसेको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले आर्थिक वर्ष २०७९/८० को मुनाफाबाट हाल कायम चुक्ता पुँजीको आधारमा बोनस शेयर प्रदान गर्ने प्रस्ताव गरेको हो।
कम्पनीका अनुसार बोनस शेयरमा लाग्ने कर भने शेयरधनीले आफैं तिर्नुपर्नेछ। यो प्रस्ताव बीमा प्राधिकरणबाट स्वीकृत भएपछि र कम्पनीको आगामी साधारणसभाले अनुमोदन गरेपछि मात्रै शेयरधनीलाई वितरण गरिनेछ। यस निर्णयले शेयरधनीहरूलाई थप प्रोत्साहन मिल्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Himalayan Life Insurance Company Limited has decided to distribute 14% bonus shares to its shareholders. A meeting of the company’s Board of Directors held on January 18 decided to provide bonus shares based on the current paid-up capital from the profits of the fiscal year 2079/80 (2022/23).
According to the company, the tax applicable on the bonus shares must be borne by the shareholders themselves. The proposed bonus shares will be distributed only after approval from the Insurance Board and endorsement by the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting. This decision is expected to provide additional incentives to the shareholders.
