मध्यपूर्वमा बढ्दो तनावबीच इरानले विश्वकै महत्वपूर्ण तेल मार्ग स्ट्रेट अफ होर्मुज पुनः नखोल्ने अडान दोहोर्याएको छ । अमेरिकी नाकाबन्दी कायम रहेसम्म उक्त जलमार्ग सञ्चालन सम्भव नहुने भन्दै तेहरानले कडा सन्देश दिएको छ। इरानले युद्धविराम उल्लङ्घन भइरहेको आरोप लगाउँदै होर्मुज क्षेत्रमा नियन्त्रण कडा बनाएको छ र दुई विदेशी जहाज नियन्त्रणमा लिएको दाबी गरेको छ । यसैबीच अमेरिका, इरान र पाकिस्तानबीच शान्ति वार्ता प्रयास जारी रहे पनि आपसी असहमति कायमै छ । समुद्री सुरक्षा जोखिम बढ्दै जाँदा ओमान नजिकै जहाजमाथि गोली प्रहार भएको र क्षेत्रभर सैन्य गतिविधि बढेको रिपोर्ट गरिएको छ, जसले विश्व तेल बजारमा थप अस्थिरता सिर्जना गरेको छ ।
Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Iran has reiterated its stance not to reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz, warning that it will remain closed as long as U.S. sanctions and blockade persist. Tehran has tightened control over the waterway, accusing others of violating ceasefire terms and claiming it has seized two foreign vessels. Diplomatic efforts involving the U.S., Iran, and Pakistan continue, but major disagreements remain unresolved. Meanwhile, maritime security risks have escalated, including reports of gunfire near Oman and increased military activity in the region, further heightening instability in global oil markets.
