सीडीएससी कामु प्रमुखमा कञ्चन सापकोटाKanchan Sapkota Named Acting CEO of CDSC
नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) को सहायक कम्पनी सीडीएस एण्ड क्लियरिङ लिमिटेड (सीडीएससी) ले कञ्चन सापकोटालाई ‘कायम मुकायम’ (कामु) प्रमुखको जिम्मेवारी सुम्पिएको छ । आइतबार बसेको सीडीएससी सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले नेप्सेको पूर्व निर्णयअनुसार प्रवीण पन्दाकलाई पदमुक्त गर्ने निर्णयलाई औपचारिक रूपमा कार्यान्वयन गरेको हो । पन्दाकलाई चार वर्षका लागि गरिएको नियुक्तिलाई नीतिगत विचलन भन्दै हटाइएपछि अब उनी नेप्सेमै फर्किने छन् ।
सीडीएससीको प्रशासन तथा मानव संशाधन (HR) प्रमुखका रूपमा कार्यरत सापकोटालाई तत्कालीन नेतृत्वको रूपमा संस्थाको दैनिक प्रशासनिक र कार्यकारी जिम्मेवारी दिइएको छ । यससँगै स्थायी प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत (सिइओ) नियुक्तिको प्रक्रिया अघि बढ्ने बाटो खुलेको छ ।
The CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC), a subsidiary of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), has appointed Kanchan Sapkota as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The decision was made by the CDSC Board meeting held on Sunday, which formally implemented NEPSE’s earlier decision to remove Prabin Pandak from his position. Pandak’s four-year appointment was earlier questioned as a policy deviation, leading to his removal and return to NEPSE.
Sapkota, who was serving as the Head of Administration and Human Resources at CDSC, has now been given the responsibility of overseeing the organization’s day-to-day administrative and executive functions. With this interim arrangement, the process for appointing a permanent CEO is expected to move forward soon.
