हिमालयन म्युचुअल फन्डअन्तर्गत सञ्चालित ‘हिमालयन ८०–२०’ योजनाले वितरण गर्न लागेको लाभांश सुरक्षित गर्ने आज (सोमबार) अन्तिम मौका हो। प्रतिफल वितरण प्रयोजनका लागि योजना व्यवस्थापकले असोज ६ गते मंगलबार ‘बुक क्लोज’ गर्ने मिति तय गरेकाले आज असोज ५ गतेसम्म इकाइ कायम राख्ने लगानीकर्ता मात्र लाभांशको हकदार बन्नेछन्।
योजना व्यवस्थापक हिमालयन क्यापिटलको गत भदौ १७ गते बसेको सञ्चालक समितिको बैठकले आफ्ना इकाइधनीहरूलाई करसहित १५ प्रतिशतका दरले नगद लाभांश (प्रतिफल) वितरण गर्ने निर्णय गरेको थियो। सोही प्रस्तावित प्रतिफल वितरणलाई मूर्तरूप दिन फन्डले भोलि बुक क्लोज गर्न लागेको हो।
नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) मा सूचीकृत यस फन्डको इकाइ आज (सोमबार) कारोबार समयसम्म खरिद गर्ने नयाँ लगानीकर्ता वा यसअघि नै खरिद गरी आफ्नो खातामा होल्ड गरिरहेका इकाइधनीले मात्र उक्त १५ प्रतिशत प्रतिफल पाउनेछन्। बुक क्लोजपछिको मिति (मंगलबार र त्यसपछि) मा इकाइ खरिद गर्ने लगानीकर्ताले भने यो लाभांश दाबी गर्न पाउने छैनन्।
Today (Monday, Ashoj 5) marks the final opportunity for investors to secure the dividend proposed by the 'Himalayan 80-20' scheme, managed under the Himalayan Mutual Fund. With the fund manager scheduling the book closure for tomorrow (Ashoj 6) for dividend distribution purposes, only those maintaining their unit holdings by the end of today's trading hours will be entitled to the return.
The board of directors of Himalayan Capital, the scheme's fund manager, had previously convened on Bhadra 17 and resolved to distribute a 15 percent cash dividend, inclusive of taxes, to its unitholders. Tomorrow's book closure is a mandatory procedural step to finalize the list of eligible beneficiaries for this payout.
Consequently, any new investors purchasing the units of this NEPSE-listed fund during today's market session, alongside the existing unitholders, will seamlessly qualify for the 15 percent dividend. However, those acquiring the units from Tuesday onwards—after the book closure comes into effect—will not be eligible to claim this financial reward.
