काठमाडौं — लुम्बिनी विकास बैंकले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा ८५ करोड १० लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा कमाएको छ। अघिल्लो वर्ष २४ करोड ११ लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको बैंकको नाफा यसपटक २५२.९६ प्रतिशतले बढेको हो।
बैंकको नाफामा देखिएको उच्च वृद्धिको मुख्य आधार इम्पेरमेन्ट खर्चमा आएको कमी हो। अघिल्लो वर्ष ७७ करोड ८८ लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको यस्तो खर्च घटेर १३ करोड ५० लाख रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको छ। यस अवधिमा खुद ब्याज आम्दानी ७.५३ प्रतिशतले बढेर १ अर्ब ९९ करोड ७२ लाख र सञ्चालन नाफा १०८.५० प्रतिशतले बढेर १ अर्ब २१ करोड ७८ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। तर, शुल्क तथा कमिसन आम्दानी भने १०.५५ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ।
बैंकको वितरणयोग्य नाफा ६१ करोड ५६ लाख रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी ६ रुपैयाँ ६५ पैसाबाट बढेर २३ रुपैयाँ ४८ पैसा तथा वितरणयोग्य प्रतिशेयर आम्दानी १६ रुपैयाँ ९९ पैसा पुगेको छ। प्रतिशेयर नेटवर्थ २१३ रुपैयाँ ७३ पैसा कायम भएको छ।
असार मसान्तसम्म बैंकले ५७ अर्ब ४४ करोड रुपैयाँ निक्षेप संकलन गरी ४७ अर्ब ६ करोड रुपैयाँ कर्जा प्रवाह गरेको छ। निक्षेप र कर्जा दुवैमा सामान्य गिरावट देखिएको छ। चुक्ता पुँजी ३ अर्ब ६२ करोड रुपैयाँ र जगेडा तथा सञ्चित नाफासहित कुल इक्विटी ७ अर्ब ७४ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।
नाफा बढे पनि बैंकको खराब कर्जा अनुपात ४.७१ प्रतिशतबाट बढेर ६.९४ प्रतिशत पुगेको छ। यसले आगामी अवधिमा कर्जा असुली र सम्पत्तिको गुणस्तरमा थप दबाब पर्न सक्ने देखाउँछ। बैंकको आधारदर भने ६.८२ प्रतिशतबाट घटेर ५.४८ प्रतिशतमा झरेको छ।
Kathmandu — Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited earned a net profit of Rs 851 million in the fiscal year 2025/26, an increase of 252.96 percent from Rs 241.1 million in the previous year, according to its unaudited fourth-quarter financial report.
The sharp rise in profit was mainly driven by a substantial decline in impairment charges. Such expenses dropped from Rs 778.8 million to Rs 135 million during the review period. Net interest income increased by 7.53 percent to Rs 1.99 billion, while operating profit more than doubled to Rs 1.21 billion. However, net fee and commission income declined by 10.55 percent.
The bank’s distributable profit rose to Rs 615.6 million. Earnings per share increased from Rs 6.65 to Rs 23.48, while distributable earnings per share reached Rs 16.99. Net worth per share also improved to Rs 213.73.
By the end of the fiscal year, the bank had collected deposits worth Rs 57.44 billion and extended loans of Rs 47.06 billion. Both deposits and lending recorded marginal declines. Its paid-up capital stood at Rs 3.62 billion, while total equity, including reserves and retained earnings, reached approximately Rs 7.74 billion.
Despite stronger profitability, the bank’s non-performing loan ratio increased from 4.71 percent to 6.94 percent, indicating continued pressure on asset quality and loan recovery. Its base rate, however, declined from 6.82 percent to 5.48 percent.
