National Fund Management Appoints Laxmi Sunrise Capital as IPO Issue Manager

National Fund Management Limited has appointed Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited as the issue and sales manager for its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company is preparing to issue 2,106,000 units of ordinary shares at a par value of Rs. 100, amounting to a total IPO size of Rs. 21,06,00,000. This IPO represents 20 percent of the company’s issued capital that will be offered to the general public.
The agreement between the two companies was signed today at the office of Sunrise Capital Limited, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The MoU was signed by Saroj Guragai, Chief Executive Officer of National Fund Management, and Bijay Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Sunrise Capital Limited.
National Fund Management Limited is registered as a public limited company at the Office of the Company Registrar and has been licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to operate as a fund manager under the Specialized Investment Fund Regulation, 2075. It is authorised to manage Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, and Hedge Funds. The company is also approved as a Qualified Institutional Investor (QII) for securities issued through the book-building method.
As a fund manager, the company has already completed capital collection and is currently operating two investment funds:
National Equity Fund–1 as a diversified private equity fund
National Hydro Fund–2 as a private equity fund focused on the energy sector
These funds are being managed professionally to mobilize investments and support the growth of various sectors in Nepal.
