नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकद्वारा आज (बुधबार) ३० अर्ब रुपैयाँ निक्षेप संकलन । केन्द्रिय बैंकले यस कार्यका लागि बोलकबोल उपकरणको माध्यमबाट ३० अर्ब रुपैयाँ संकलन गर्न लागेको हो। अहिले राष्ट्र बैंकको कुल निक्षेप ७२ खर्ब भन्दा बढी पुगिसकेको छ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले वित्तीय बजारमा अत्यधिक तरलता र ब्याजदरको व्यवस्थापनका लागि विभिन्न निक्षेप संकलन उपकरण प्रयोग गर्दै आएको छ। यसको उद्देश्य दीर्घकालीन तरलता अवस्थालाई व्यवस्थापन गरी बजार ब्याजदरलाई सन्तुलनमा राख्नु हो। यससम्बन्धी कार्यविधी अनुसार, केन्द्रिय बैंकले ६ महिना अवधिको दीर्घकालीन निक्षेप संकलन उपकरणको प्रयोग गर्न सक्ने प्रावधान पनि रहेको छ।
केवल क, ख र ग वर्गका इजाजतप्राप्त बैंक र वित्तीय संस्थाहरू मात्र बोलकबोलमा सहभागी हुन पाउनेछन्। बोलकबोलको माध्यमबाट ब्याजदर निर्धारण हुनेछ र बडो न्यूनतम १० करोड रुपैयाँ र अधिकतम ५ करोड रुपैयाँको मात्रा राखेर निक्षेप संकलन गरिनेछ। राष्ट्र बैंकले बोलकबोलका माध्यमबाट निक्षेप संकलन गर्ने अवसर आज अनलाइन प्रणालीमार्फत प्रदान गर्दैछ। यस प्रक्रिया अन्तर्गत, इजाजत प्राप्त बैंकहरूको ब्याजदरका आधारमा निक्षेप बाँडफाँट गरिनेछ।
Nepal Rastra Bank is set to collect a total of NPR 30 billion in deposits today (Wednesday) through an auction-based deposit collection tool. Currently, the total deposits with the central bank have exceeded NPR 72 trillion.
To manage excess liquidity in the financial market and to control interest rates, the central bank has been using deposit collection tools and permanent deposit facilities. According to the open market operation procedures, when there is an excess of long-term liquidity in the financial market, the central bank manages it to stabilize market interest rates by using a long-term deposit collection tool, with the duration of up to 6 months.
Only authorized banks and financial institutions in categories K, Kh, and G will be eligible to participate in the auction. The deposit collection will be carried out based on the interest rates set by these banks, with the lowest bidder being prioritized. The auction will take place through an online platform, and the interest rates will be determined accordingly. The deposit and interest payments are scheduled for Bhadra 29, 2082, as per the information provided by Nepal Rastra Bank. The minimum bid amount will be NPR 10 crore, and the maximum will be NPR 50 crore.
