Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public starting from April (Baisakh 3). After already allocating shares to Nepalis working abroad, employees, and mutual funds, the company is now issuing 3,474,900 shares to the public at a face value of NPR 100 per share. Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 11,000 shares, with the application deadline set for Baisakh 8, extendable until Baisakh 17 if not fully subscribed. The issue is being managed by NMB Capital Limited, and applications can be submitted through C-ASBA via banks and financial institutions or through the “Mero Share” online platform. CARE Ratings Nepal has assigned the company a CARE-NP Single B issuer rating, indicating a high level of risk in its ability to meet financial obligations. The company’s simple payback period is 8.11 years, while the discounted payback period stands at 11.35 years. Its net present value exceeds NPR 15.97 billion, and the internal rate of return is estimated at 23.63 percent.
