तरलता नियन्त्रणमा राष्ट्र बैंकको कडा कदम, आइतबार ५० अर्ब रुपैयाँ बजारबाट खिच्नेStrict Move by NRB to Control Liquidity: Rs. 50 Billion to Be Withdrawn on Sunday
बैंकिङ प्रणालीमा अत्यधिक तरलता देखिएपछि नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले तरलता व्यवस्थापनका लागि पुनः ठूलो मात्रामा रकम संकलन गर्न लागेको छ। आइतबार राष्ट्र बैंकले बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाबाट ५० अर्ब रुपैयाँ उठाउने भएको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकले दिउँसो ३ बजे बोलकबोलको समय तोकेको छ, जसअनुसार ४ दिन अवधिका लागि निक्षेप संकलन गरिनेछ।
यस प्रक्रियामा न्यूनतम १० करोड रुपैयाँ र त्यसको पाँच करोडले भाग लाग्ने हिसाबले अधिकतम सीमा निर्धारण गरिएको छ। सावाँ तथा ब्याज साउन १ गते भुक्तानी गरिनेछ भने ब्याजदर बोलकबोलमै तय हुनेछ। नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकबाट इजाजतप्राप्त ‘क’, ‘ख’ र ‘ग’ वर्गका बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरू मात्र सहभागी हुन पाउनेछन्। यो कदमले बजारमा बढ्दो तरलता सन्तुलनमा ल्याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
With excessive liquidity observed in the banking system, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is once again set to manage it by withdrawing a large amount of funds. On Sunday, NRB plans to withdraw Rs. 50 billion from banks and financial institutions. The central bank has scheduled the auction for 3 PM today, under which the funds will be collected for a 4-day term.
The auction will have a minimum bid amount of Rs. 1 billion (Rs. 100 crore), and bids must be in multiples of Rs. 500 million (Rs. 50 crore). The repayment of both principal and interest is scheduled for Shrawan 1 (mid-July), with the interest rate to be determined through the auction. Only Class 'A', 'B', and 'C' licensed banks and financial institutions are eligible to participate. This move is expected to bring balance to the rising liquidity in the market.
