Complete Document Checklist for Bali Tourist Visa from Nepal (2025 Update)

If you are a Nepali citizen planning to visit Bali or Indonesia in 2025, you must apply for the C1 Tourist Visa (Visit Visa – 60 Days Stay) before your trip, as Nepal is not eligible for Visa on Arrival in Indonesia. To ensure a smooth visa approval process, it is essential to prepare and upload all the required documents properly through the official eVisa portal: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Many applicants face delays or rejections simply because of missing or unclear documents — so following a proper checklist helps guarantee success.

The most important document is your valid passport, which must have a minimum validity of 6 months from your date of entry and at least two blank pages for visa stamps. Next, you need to provide a clear color scan of your passport’s biographic page, ensuring that all details are clearly visible. You also need to upload a recent color photograph (size 3.5 × 4.5 cm) with a plain white background. The photo should show your full face with a neutral expression, and the file size should be under 200 KB in JPEG or PNG format.

A key requirement for Nepali travelers is the personal bank statement for the last 3 months, showing your name, date range, and an available balance of at least USD 2,000 (or equivalent in NPR). This serves as proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your travel and stay expenses in Indonesia. The statement must be clear, recent, and issued by a recognized financial institution.

You also need to attach your round-trip flight itinerary or a valid onward ticket, proving your intention to leave Indonesia before your visa expires. Along with that, upload a hotel or accommodation booking confirmation for the entire duration of your stay. These two documents are mandatory for establishing your travel intent and accommodation arrangements.

Once you complete your online form on the eVisa portal, you will receive a payment link. Pay the visa fee of IDR 1,000,000 (approximately NPR 8,600) using an international Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card. Keep a screenshot or receipt of successful payment and include it with your submission. Additionally, attach any supporting documents if applicable — such as a travel insurance certificate, employment letter, or invitation letter from family or friends in Indonesia. These optional documents add credibility to your application and can help in faster approval.

After submitting all the files, carefully review them for accuracy. Ensure that your name, date of birth, and passport number match exactly across all documents. Any mismatch between your passport and online form may delay or reject your visa. Keep both soft copies and printed versions of all documents in case immigration officials request them at the airport.

For Nepali applicants who prefer a hassle-free process, Yatra for Fun Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary company of Nepse Trading, provides complete visa assistance for Indonesia. They help applicants prepare all required documents, ensure correct formatting, handle online uploads, and track your application status until approval.
