Stock Market Turnover Reaches NPR 4.97 Billion on Monday — Top 10 Brokers Account for 44% of Total Trading

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a total turnover of NPR 4.97 billion on Monday. Among this, the top 10 brokerage firms alone accounted for 44% of the total trading volume. According to market data, the top 10 brokers purchased securities worth NPR 2.32 billion and sold securities worth NPR 2.05 billion. Out of the 10 leading brokers, nine recorded higher buying volume than selling, indicating strong buying pressure among top firms. The brokers with higher purchases include Naasa (Broker 58), Bhrikuti (Broker 55), Capital Max (Broker 62), Vision (Broker 34), Online (Broker 49), Imperial (Broker 45), Aryatara (Broker 57), Shree Krishna (Broker 28), and Sani (Broker 42).

Stock Market Turnover Reaches NPR 4.97 Billion on Monday — Top 10 Brokers Account for 44% of Total Trading

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a total turnover of NPR 4.97 billion on Monday. Among this, the top 10 brokerage firms alone accounted for 44% of the total trading volume.

According to market data, the top 10 brokers purchased securities worth NPR 2.32 billion and sold securities worth NPR 2.05 billion.

Out of the 10 leading brokers, nine recorded higher buying volume than selling, indicating strong buying pressure among top firms. The brokers with higher purchases include Naasa (Broker 58), Bhrikuti (Broker 55), Capital Max (Broker 62), Vision (Broker 34), Online (Broker 49), Imperial (Broker 45), Aryatara (Broker 57), Shree Krishna (Broker 28), and Sani (Broker 42).

Among them, Naasa Securities topped the list with NPR 54.71 crore in buying and NPR 51.15 crore in selling, followed by Bhrikuti Securities with NPR 52.86 crore in buying and NPR 48.04 crore in selling.

Only one broker — Trishakti Securities (Broker 48) — recorded more selling (NPR 14.74 crore) than buying (NPR 11.05 crore).

Investors carried out these transactions using the TMS (Trading Management System) platform. The most actively traded companies through these brokers included NRN Infrastructure & Development, Nepal Reinsurance, Himalayan Reinsurance, CEDB Hydropower, Union Hydropower, and Shivam Cement.
