Indonesia eVisa 2025: Online Application Portal for Nepali Citizens

The Indonesia eVisa 2025 online portal (evisa.imigrasi.go.id) allows Nepali citizens to apply for their visas quickly and safely online. With a valid passport, a small fee, and a few required documents, Nepali travelers can receive their C1 Tourist Visa in less than a week — valid for 60 days and extendable up to 180 days. The platform offers full transparency, easy payment, and direct communication with Indonesian immigration, making it the most reliable way to apply for a visa to Bali, Jakarta, or other parts of Indonesia in 2025.

Indonesia eVisa 2025: Online Application Portal for Nepali Citizens

The Indonesia eVisa 2025 portal has made it easier than ever for Nepali citizens to apply for Indonesian tourist and visitor visas entirely online — without visiting the embassy. The system is officially managed by the Directorate General of Immigration, under Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and operates through the government domain https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id. This is the only authorized website for eVisa applications for Indonesia, replacing older systems like “Molina” with a unified and secure platform.

Through this portal, Nepali travelers can apply for various visa types, including the C1 Tourist Visa, which allows a single entry and a stay of up to 60 days — extendable twice, bringing the maximum total stay up to 180 days. The visa must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days from the date of issuance. The online application system was designed to eliminate the need for manual paperwork, in-person appointments, or long embassy queues. Once approved, the visa is delivered in PDF format directly to the applicant’s email, making travel preparation seamless and efficient.

The application process begins by registering an account on the official eVisa website, selecting “Foreigner”, and verifying the email address. Applicants must then choose the appropriate visa category, such as Tourist / Visitor Visa (C1), and fill in personal details as they appear on their passport. Next, the applicant uploads the required documents — a passport valid for at least 6 months, a bank statement showing at least USD 2,000 or equivalent in NPR for the last three months, and a recent color photo. Optional documents such as hotel booking confirmations, flight itineraries, or invitation letters from family or organizations can also strengthen the application.

Once the application form is complete, the visa fee must be paid online via Visa, MasterCard, or JCB debit/credit card. The official cost listed on the portal for the Tourist Visa is IDR 1,500,000 (approximately NPR 12,500–13,000). The standard processing time is around five working days, although some applications may take longer if documents are incomplete or require manual review. After approval, the applicant receives the eVisa in PDF form via email, which must be printed and shown to immigration officers upon arrival in Indonesia.

The eVisa system is designed for ease, security, and transparency. Applicants can also use the same portal to check visa status, extend their stay, or retrieve their visa if lost. Importantly, having an approved visa does not guarantee entry — final approval is determined by immigration officers at the port of entry. However, with proper documentation, Nepali travelers generally face no issues entering the country. It is strongly recommended to use only the official government website (.go.id) to avoid fraudulent third-party sites that charge unnecessary fees.

For Nepali citizens seeking help with the eVisa process, Yatra for Fun Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Nepse Trading, provides professional visa support services for over 70 countries, including Indonesia. They offer end-to-end guidance — from document verification to online payment and follow-up with immigration authorities — ensuring faster and safer approval for Nepali applicants.
