NEPSE trading hours: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (4 hours). T+2 settlement. For successful intraday, you need: (1) High ATR% stocks for sufficient price movement, (2) Above-average volume for liquidity, (3) Clear trend direction.

Filter criteria: ATR% above 3% AND vol_ratio above 1.0 AND composite_score above 65. Top picks: NHPC (ATR: 5.2%, vol: 1.7x, score: 75.4) - Rs.307.8, strong momentum with high volatility. LEC (ATR: 4.9%, vol: 1.2x, score: 76.3) - Rs.268, golden cross active. AKJCL (ATR: 4.7%, vol: 0.9x, score: 76.2) - Rs.419, MACD bullish. MFIL (ATR: 4.7%, vol: 1.1x, score: 74.4) - Rs.879.
Intraday Technical Setup
Opening Range Breakout
Mark the high and low of the first 30 minutes (11:00-11:30 AM). Buy when price breaks above the range high with volume. Sell when it breaks below the range low. Works best with high ATR% stocks.
VWAP Strategy
VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) acts as dynamic support/resistance. Buy above VWAP with momentum, sell below VWAP. Current VWAP distances show how far stocks are from their intraday fair value.
Intraday Risk Rules
Maximum 3 trades per day. Stop loss at 1% of stock price. Target 1.5-2% per trade. Never carry intraday positions overnight without intention.
