Manakamana Smart Microfinance Shareholders Must Pay Tax for Bonus Shares

Shareholders of Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution Limited are required to pay tax before receiving their 17% bonus shares. The company has issued a notice requesting shareholders to pay the tax on the bonus shares distributed from the profit of fiscal year 2077-78.
Shareholders need to contact NMB Capital to ascertain the tax amount and then deposit the tax into the account of Manakamana Smart Microfinance at NMB Bank, account number 0780066128300012. Information regarding the tax on bonus shares can also be obtained from the NMB Capital website.
The bonus shares will only be deposited into the shareholders' Demat accounts after the tax has been paid. Manakamana Smart Microfinance was formed by the merger of the former Smart Microfinance and Manakamana Microfinance on Shrawan 11, 2077.
Shareholders who acquired shares after this date or through the IPO must also pay the tax themselves. They are requested to send the payment voucher to the email: manakamana.bonustax@gmail.com.
