काठमाडौं — पछिल्लो समय पुँजी बजारमा सर्वसाधारणका लागि प्राथमिक सेयर (आईपीओ) निष्कासन गर्ने कम्पनीहरूको आकर्षण बढ्दै गएको छ। चालु आर्थिक वर्षको भदौ २३ गतेसम्म जलविद्युत्, स्वास्थ्य, पर्यटन, कृषि, उत्पादनमूलक र रियल इस्टेट क्षेत्रका २० वटा कम्पनीले आईपीओ निष्कासन गर्ने मुख्य एजेन्डासहित आफ्नो साधारण सभा (वार्षिक तथा विशेष) बोलाएका छन्। यीमध्ये तीनवटा कम्पनीले विशेष साधारण सभामार्फत आईपीओ जारी गर्ने प्रस्ताव पारित गरिसकेका छन् भने चारवटाले वार्षिक साधारण सभामा सो एजेन्डा पेस गरिसकेका छन्।
पुँजी बजारमा प्रवेश गर्न लागेका यी नयाँ कम्पनीमध्ये ८ वटाले आईपीओ निष्कासनसँगै आफ्ना हालका संस्थापक लगानीकर्तालाई लाभांश वितरण गर्ने आकर्षक प्रस्तावसमेत अघि सारेका छन्। जसमध्ये, नर्भिक इन्टरनेसनल हस्पिटलले सबैभन्दा धेरै २२.१० प्रतिशत नगद र २० प्रतिशत बोनस सेयर वितरणको प्रस्ताव गरेको छ। त्यसैगरी, आशुतोष इनर्जीले १८.९४ प्रतिशत, काबेली हाइड्रोपावरले १६.३१ प्रतिशत, भेन्चर हायर पर्चेजले १५ प्रतिशत र साप्सु कालिका हाइड्रोपावरले ५ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश दिने प्रस्ताव अघि बढाएका छन्। अन्य कम्पनीहरूमा, होटल सारथीले २.७८ प्रतिशत नगद र १३ प्रतिशत बोनस सेयर तथा डिभाइन हेल्थकेयरले ०.०६५ प्रतिशत नगद र १.२५ प्रतिशत बोनस सेयर वितरण गर्ने एजेन्डा तय गरेका छन्।
सम्बन्धित कम्पनीका साधारण सभाबाट यी प्रस्तावहरू विधिवत् रूपमा पारित भएपछि धितोपत्र बोर्डलगायतका नियामक निकायमा आईपीओ स्वीकृतिका लागि औपचारिक प्रक्रिया अघि बढाइनेछ। लामो समयदेखि वित्तीय संस्था र जलविद्युत् कम्पनीको मात्र बाहुल्य रहेको सेयर बजारमा स्वास्थ्य, होटल तथा उत्पादनमूलक जस्ता वास्तविक क्षेत्र (रियल सेक्टर) का कम्पनीहरूको प्रवेशले सर्वसाधारणलाई लगानीका नयाँ र विविध विकल्पहरू प्रदान गर्नेछ। यसले आगामी दिनमा नेपालको प्राथमिक सेयर बजारलाई थप फराकिलो र चलायमान बनाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Kathmandu — In a promising sign for the capital market, 20 new companies from diverse sectors have made Initial Public Offering (IPO) issuance the primary agenda for their upcoming general meetings. As of Bhadra 23, companies representing the hydropower, healthcare, hospitality (hotels), agriculture, manufacturing, and real estate sectors are actively preparing to issue shares to the general public.
Out of the 20 companies, three have already passed the IPO proposal through their Special General Meetings (SGMs), while four others have officially tabled the agenda in their Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
Interestingly, eight of these companies preparing to go public have also proposed distributing dividends to their existing shareholders. Norvic International Hospital and Medical College has proposed the highest return, offering a 22.10% cash dividend and 20% bonus shares. In the energy sector, Aasutosh Energy, Kabeli Hydropower, and Sapsu Kalika Hydropower have proposed cash dividends of 18.94%, 16.31%, and 5%, respectively. Additionally, Venture Hire Purchase has proposed a 15% cash dividend, Hotel Sarathi has offered a 2.78% cash dividend alongside 13% bonus shares, and Divine Healthcare has proposed a 0.065% cash dividend and 1.25% bonus shares.
Once these proposals are formally approved by their respective general meetings, the companies will initiate the necessary regulatory procedures with the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and other relevant authorities to secure IPO approval. The growing entry of "real sector" companies—such as hospitals, hotels, and manufacturing firms—into a stock market traditionally dominated by financial institutions and hydropower is expected to boost market dynamism and provide the general public with wider and more diversified investment alternatives.
