नेप्सकाे प्राप्ति पश्चात जे एनसीएचएलको एकीकृत कारोबार सुरुAfter the acquisition of Neps, the integrated business of J.N.C.H.L. started
नेपाल क्लियरिङ्ग हाउस लिमिटेड (एनसीएचएल) ले २०८१, जेठ २१ गते एक औपचारिक कार्यक्रम आयोजना गरी नेपाल इलेक्ट्रोनिक पेमेन्ट सिस्टम्स लिमिटेड (नेप्स) लाई प्राप्ति गरी एकीकृत कारोबार शुरुवातको घोषणा गरेको छ। नेपालमा यसरी दुई भुक्तानी प्रणाली सञ्चालकहरू बीच गाभ्ने/गाभिने वा प्राप्ति भएको यो नै पहिलो हो।
कार्यक्रममा नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका गभर्नर महाप्रसाद अधिकारी प्रमुख अतिथिका रूपमा उपस्थित थिए। कार्यक्रममा बैंक वित्तीय संस्थाहरू, भुक्तानी प्रणाली सञ्चालक तथा सेवा प्रदायकहरूका प्रतिनिधिहरूले सहभागिता जनाएका थिए।
दुबै संस्थाहरूले आ-आफ्नो विशेष साधारण सभाबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त गरी नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक र कम्पनी रजिष्ट्रारको कार्यालयबाट अन्तिम स्वीकृतिपछि उक्त प्राप्ति सम्पन्न गरिएको हो। एनसीएचएलले नेप्सलाई १:०.२८ स्वाप अनुपातमा प्राप्ति गरेको हो।
प्राप्ति पछि एनसीएचएलको चुक्ता पुँजी १ अर्ब ७ करोड रूपैयाँ र कुल कोष १ अर्ब ४४ करोड रूपैयाँ पुगेको छ। यसले पूर्वाधार विस्तार गर्न, जोखिम न्यूनिकरण गर्न, र नविनतम अनुसन्धनमा लगानी गर्न सहयोग पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।

प्राप्ति पश्चात, नेप्सले कार्ड सम्बन्धी सेवा निरन्तरता दिनेछ भने एनसीएचएलले अन्य विद्युतीय भुक्तानी सेवा सुदृढ पार्दै नेशनल पेमेन्ट स्वीच (NPS-NCS / NEPALPAY scheme) को कार्यान्वयनलाई अघि बढाउनेछ।
यो प्राप्तिले नेपालमा डिजिटल भुक्तानीको क्षेत्रमा नयाँ युगको सुरुवात गरेको छ, जसले भुक्तानी प्रणालीलाई अझ प्रभावकारी र समन्वयात्मक बनाउनेछ।
Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) formally announced the acquisition of Nepal Electronic Payment Systems Limited (NEPS) and the commencement of integrated operations on May 21, 2081, at an official event. This marks the first merger/acquisition between two payment system operators in Nepal.
The event was graced by the presence of the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari, along with high-ranking officials from Nepal Rastra Bank, government agencies, representatives from banks and financial institutions, payment system operators, and service providers.
After obtaining approval from their respective special general meetings on April 13, 2081, and completing all legal and procedural requirements, including final approvals from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Office of the Company Registrar, the acquisition was successfully executed. NCHL acquired NEPS at a 1:0.28 swap ratio.
Following the acquisition, NCHL's paid-up capital stands at NPR 1.07 billion, and the total fund amounts to NPR 1.44 billion. This expansion is expected to aid in infrastructure development, risk mitigation, investment in cutting-edge research, and enhancement of service quality.

This acquisition signifies the beginning of a new era in Nepal's digital payment sector, aiming to make payment systems more efficient and coordinated.
