AGMs of 8 NEPSE-Listed Companies Today, Agendas Include Dividends to IPO Plans

Kathmandu. On Monday, January 5 (Poush 21), eight companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) are holding their Annual General Meetings (AGMs). The companies conducting AGMs today include Mahalaxmi Development Bank Limited, Mid Solu Hydropower Company Limited, Singati Hydro Energy Limited, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited, Hotel Siraichuli Limited, Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited, Union Hydropower Limited and Peace Energy Company Limited. The AGMs will discuss and decide on key agendas such as cash and bonus dividend distribution, appointment of auditors, election of directors, capital increment, issuance of right shares and IPOs, as well as amendments to the memorandum and articles of association. Mahalaxmi Development Bank has proposed a 5.37 percent cash dividend and 5 percent bonus shares, while hydropower companies including Mid Solu, Singati, HIDCL and Dordi Khola are tabling proposals related to bonus shares, right issues and capital expansion. Hotel Siraichuli and Peace Energy are set to deliberate on IPO issuance plans.
