Apollo Hydropower Completes IPO Allotment for Locals and Nepalis Working Abroad

Kathmandu — Apollo Hydropower Limited has completed the allotment of its initial public offering (IPO) shares issued to project-affected local residents and Nepali citizens working abroad. The company confirmed that the allotment was finalized on Chaitra 12, 2082.Under the offering, the company had reserved a portion of its issued capital for specific groups. A total of 470,000 shares were allocated to residents of project-affected areas, while 94,000 shares were issued to Nepalis employed overseas with valid labor approval.According to the company, shares have been distributed to eligible applicants in accordance with prevailing regulations. Applicants who were allotted shares can check their results through the website of the issue and sales manager, Himalayan Capital Limited.The company has also stated that refunds for unsuccessful applicants will be processed and transferred to their respective bank accounts as per the standard procedure. Nepali applicants working abroad can additionally verify their allotment status through the CDS and Clearing Limited platform.Furthermore, C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions have been requested to complete the fund settlement and release processes promptly.With this allotment, the company aims to enhance public participation, particularly among local communities and overseas Nepali workers, in the country’s hydropower sector.
