Arambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL) has published its unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year, showing a significant increase in net profit compared to the same period last year. The company reported a net profit of NPR 9.44 crore, a sharp rise from just NPR 6.8 lakh in the previous year.
The surge in profit is primarily due to a 31.89% rise in net interest income and a 26.75% increase in other operating income, along with a reversal of impairment charges amounting to NPR 2.38 crore. As a result, the company’s operating profit jumped by 936.13%.
Earnings per share (EPS) also increased significantly, reaching NPR 25.72, up by NPR 25.53. The price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio stood at 42.28 times, and the net worth per share was NPR 156.18 as of the end of Ashad.
The company has a paid-up capital of NPR 36.71 crore and reserve funds of NPR 20.62 crore. It has mobilized deposits and borrowings totaling NPR 5.25 billion, with loans disbursed amounting to NPR 5.31 billion.
