अरुण तेस्रो जलविद्युत आयोजनाको मुख्य सुरुङ छिचोलियोArun III Hydropower Project Tunnel Breakthrough Achieved
संखुवासभामा निर्माणाधीन ९०० मेगावाट क्षमताको अरुण तेस्रो जलविद्युत आयोजनाको मुख्य सुरुङ मंगलबार छिचोलिएको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री पुष्पकमल दाहाल प्रचण्डले परियोजनाको सुरुङ 'ब्रेक–थ्रु' कार्य सम्पन्न गरेका छन्।
यो आयोजनाको ७० प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी काम सम्पन्न भइसकेको छ। प्रधानमन्त्री प्रचण्डले बाँकी कामहरू समयमै पूरा गर्न सरोकारवालाहरूलाई सहजीकरण र सहयोगका लागि आग्रह गरे।
प्रधानमन्त्री प्रचण्डले अरुण तेस्रोको ड्यामसाइट र पावरहाउसको हेलिकोप्टरबाट अनुगमन पनि गरे।
परियोजनामा कुनै अवरोध नभए अबको करिब एक वर्षमा सम्पूर्ण निर्माण सम्पन्न हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
यस आयोजनाको सफलताले नेपाललाई ऊर्जा उत्पादनमा आत्मनिर्भर बनाउने उद्देश्य राखिएको छ। प्रचण्डले सबै सरोकारवालाहरूलाई आयोजना समयमै पूरा गर्न हरसम्भव सहयोग गर्ने प्रतिज्ञा गरेका छन्।
The main tunnel of the 900 MW Arun III Hydropower Project, currently under construction in Sankhuwasabha, has been successfully completed. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' officiated the tunnel breakthrough ceremony on Tuesday.
More than 70% of the project has been completed. On this occasion, Prime Minister Prachanda urged all stakeholders to facilitate and cooperate in completing the remaining work of the project.
Prime Minister Prachanda also inspected the dam site and powerhouse of the Arun III project via helicopter.
If no further obstacles arise, the entire construction is expected to be completed within approximately one year.
The successful completion of this project aims to make Nepal self-sufficient in energy production. Prachanda pledged full support to all stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of the project.
