Asian Life Insurance Limited Calls 18th AGM on Feb 24, Proposes 5% Bonus Shares and 5.52% Cash Dividend

Asian Life Insurance Limited has convened its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposal from the profit earned in the fiscal year 2024/25 (2081/82). The company has announced that the AGM will be held on Monday, February 24 (Falgun 11), at Hotel Classic, Simara, Bara.

The meeting will approve a proposal to distribute a 5 percent bonus share on the paid-up capital along with 5.52 percent cash dividend for tax purposes on the bonus shares. In addition, the AGM will also pass a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to amend the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association as required.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the insurance company will close its book for one day on February 10 (Magh 29). Accordingly, shareholders who hold shares of the company until February 9 (Magh 28) as recorded in NEPSE will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the declared dividends.
