आज नयाँ प्रधानमन्त्रीको शपथ, बालेन शाहले सम्हाल्नेछन् देशको कार्यकारी नेतृत्वBalen Shah to Be Sworn In as Prime Minister Today
काठमाडौं । मुलुकमा आज नयाँ सरकार गठनको औपचारिक सुरुवात हुँदैछ। राष्ट्रपति निवास शीतल निवासमा आयोजना हुने समारोहमा राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टीका नेता बालेन्द्र शाहले प्रधानमन्त्री पदको शपथ लिने कार्यक्रम रहेको छ। राष्ट्रपति रामचन्द्र पौडेलले उनलाई पद तथा गोपनीयताको शपथ गराउने तय भएको हो।संविधानअनुसार आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पूरा गर्दै शाहलाई प्रधानमन्त्रीमा नियुक्त गर्ने कार्य शपथअघि सम्पन्न गरिनेछ। प्रतिनिधिसभामा स्पष्ट बहुमत प्राप्त दलको नेताका रूपमा उनी संविधानको धारा ७६(१) अनुसार सरकार गठनका लागि अघि बढेका हुन्।आजको शपथ समारोहलाई विशेष महत्वका साथ हेरिएको छ। कार्यक्रममा विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलका नेता, कूटनीतिक नियोगका प्रतिनिधि, उच्च सरकारी अधिकारी तथा नागरिक समाजका व्यक्तित्वहरूको सहभागिता रहने जनाइएको छ। प्रधानमन्त्रीसँगै केही मन्त्रीहरूले पनि एकैपटक शपथ लिने तयारी भइरहेकोले नयाँ मन्त्रिपरिषद्को प्रारम्भिक स्वरूप सार्वजनिक हुने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।पछिल्लो प्रतिनिधिसभा निर्वाचनमा राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र पार्टीले स्पष्ट बहुमत ल्याएपछि सरकार गठनको बाटो खुलेको हो। त्यसपछि दलले बालेन्द्र शाहलाई संसदीय दलको नेतामा चयन गर्दै सरकारको नेतृत्व सुम्पिएको थियो।झापा क्षेत्र नम्बर ५ बाट उल्लेखनीय मतान्तरसहित निर्वाचित शाह अब कार्यकारी नेतृत्वमा प्रवेश गर्दैछन्। यसअघि नवनिर्वाचित सांसदहरूले शपथ ग्रहण गरिसकेकाले अब सरकार सञ्चालनको औपचारिक चरण सुरु हुन लागेको हो।नयाँ सरकारबाट देशमा स्थायित्व, सुशासन र प्रभावकारी कार्यसम्पादनको अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। अबको कार्यकालमा सरकारले जनअपेक्षा अनुसार नतिजा दिन सक्ने कि नसक्ने भन्ने विषयमा सबैको ध्यान केन्द्रित भएको छ।
Kathmandu — The country is set to witness the formation of a new government today, as Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Balen Shah prepares to take the oath of office as Prime Minister. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Presidential Residence, Shital Niwas, where President Ramchandra Paudel will administer the oath of office and secrecy.Prior to the ceremony, Shah will be formally appointed as Prime Minister in accordance with constitutional procedures. As the leader of the party holding a clear majority in the House of Representatives, he has been entrusted with forming the government under Article 76(1) of the Constitution.The event is expected to be attended by leaders of various political parties, diplomatic representatives, senior government officials, and members of civil society. Alongside the Prime Minister, several ministers are also likely to take the oath, indicating the initial formation of the new cabinet.The Rastriya Swatantra Party secured a decisive majority in the recent parliamentary elections, paving the way for government formation. Following the results, the party selected Shah as its parliamentary leader, positioning him to lead the new administration.Elected from Jhapa Constituency No. 5 with a significant margin, Shah now steps into executive leadership at a crucial time. With newly elected lawmakers already sworn in, the transition into full government operation is now underway.There are high expectations from the new government to ensure political stability, good governance, and efficient public service delivery. Attention now turns to how effectively the new leadership can meet public expectations in the days ahead.
