आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/०८२ को बजेट जेठ १५ गते मंगलबार दिउँसो १ बजे प्रस्तुत हुने भएको छ। आइतबारको प्रतिनिधिसभा बैठकमा सभामुख देवराज घिमिरेले यसबारे जानकारी गराएका छन्। उनले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/०८२ को राजस्व र व्ययको वार्षिक अनुमान पेश गर्न संघीय संसदको संयुक्त बैठक मंगलबार दिउँसो १ बजे बस्ने जानकारी दिएका हुन्।
सभामुख घिमिरेले प्रतिनिधिसभा सदस्यहरुलाई १२:४५ बजे भन्दा अगाडि नै संसदमा उपस्थित हुन आग्रह गरेका छन्। संविधानको धारा ११९ अनुसार संघीय संसदको संयुक्त बैठकमा जेठ १५ गते नै बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्नुपर्ने प्रावधान रहेको छ। आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको बजेट अर्थमन्त्री वर्षमान पुनले प्रस्तुत गर्नेछन्।
अघिल्ला वर्षहरुमा बजेट अपरान्हतिर मात्र संसदमा प्रस्तुत गर्ने प्रचलन रहेको थियो। तर, यस वर्ष भने विगतमा भन्दा चाँडै संसदको बैठक बोलाएर बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्न लागिएको हो। यसले संसद सदस्यहरुलाई बजेटबारे थप समयमै जानकारी पाउने र छलफल गर्न समय पाउने अवसर प्रदान गर्नेछ।
अर्थमन्त्री पुनले आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको बजेटमा कृषिको विस्तार, सेवा क्षेत्रमा सुधार, र निर्माण क्षेत्रको प्रगतिलाई विशेष प्राथमिकता दिने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। उनले आर्थिक स्थायित्व, रोजगारी सिर्जना, र विकास परियोजनाहरुमा तीव्रता दिन बजेटमा आवश्यक व्यवस्था गर्ने बताइरहेका छन्।
