Chandragiri Hills to Hold AGM on January 7, Proposes 5% Bonus Shares

Chandragiri Hills Limited has announced its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposed from the profit of the previous fiscal year. The company has scheduled the AGM for January 7 (Poush 23), Wednesday, at the Bottom Station premises of Chandragiri Hills Limited in Thankot, Kathmandu. The meeting will commence at 11:00 AM.

The AGM will consider and approve a special resolution to distribute bonus shares at the rate of 5 percent of the company’s current paid-up capital. In addition, the company has also proposed a cash dividend of 0.2632 percent for tax purposes related to the issuance of bonus shares.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, Chandragiri Hills has decided to close its books for one day on January 11 (Poush 11). Accordingly, shareholders who hold the company’s shares and have completed transactions on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) by January 9 (Poush 9) will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.

The company stated that the dividend proposal reflects improved financial performance driven by stable operations and a gradual recovery in the tourism sector, while maintaining a focus on shareholder returns.
