नेपाल क्लियरिङ्ग हाउसको अध्यक्षमा चेतप्रसाद उप्रेती नियुक्तChet Prasad Upreti Appointed as Chairman of Nepal Clearing House Ltd.
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका कार्यकारी निर्देशक चेतप्रसाद उप्रेती नेपाल क्लियरिङ्ग हाउस लिमिटेड (NCHL) को सञ्चालक समितिको अध्यक्ष नियुक्त भएका छन्। उनले बिहीबार एक औपचारिक समारोहमा अध्यक्ष पद र गोपनियताको शपथ लिएका हुन्। यसअघि सो पदमा राष्ट्र बैंककै कार्यकारी निर्देशक विश्रुत थापा थिए।
उप्रेतीको राष्ट्र बैंकमा विभिन्न विभागमा २७ वर्षभन्दा बढीको अनुभव रहेको छ। उनी त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयबाट एमबीए डिग्री प्राप्त गरेका छन्। हाल उनी राष्ट्र बैंकको गैर बैंक वित्तीय संस्था सुपरिवेक्षण विभागका कार्यकारी निर्देशकको जिम्मेवारीमा कार्यरत छन्।
नेपाल क्लियरिङ्ग हाउस लिमिटेडको सञ्चालक समितिमा नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक, वाणिज्य बैंक, विकास बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाबाट प्रतिनिधिहरू रहने व्यवस्था छ। एनसीएचएल नेपालमा राष्ट्रिय भुक्तानी प्रणाली विकास गर्न राष्ट्र बैंक तथा बैंक तथा वित्तीय संस्थाहरूको सहकार्यमा स्थापना गरिएको प्रवद्र्धित संस्था हो।
Chet Prasad Upreti, Executive Director at Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL). He officially took the oath of office and secrecy at a formal ceremony held today. Upreti replaces Bishrut Thapa, another Executive Director of NRB, who previously held the position.
Upreti brings with him over 27 years of experience working in various departments of the central bank. He holds an MBA degree from Tribhuvan University. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Non-Bank Financial Institution Supervision Department at Nepal Rastra Bank.
The NCHL board includes representatives from Nepal Rastra Bank, commercial banks, development banks, and finance companies. NCHL is a company promoted by NRB and financial institutions, established to develop and operate national payment systems in Nepal.
