Chirakhwa Hydropower Calls AGM on Poush 23 to Approve 1:1 Rights Share Proposal

Chirakhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) has announced its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday, January 7 (Poush 23), at Kundalini Royals, Jorpati, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM. The AGM is set to endorse a special proposal to issue right shares in the ratio of 1:1, equivalent to 100% of the current paid-up capital. Additionally, the meeting will authorize the Board of Directors to undertake all necessary procedures for the rights issue, amend the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, identify potential projects for investment or development, manage loan repayments, and appoint an auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. For the purpose of the AGM, the company has declared a book closure on Poush 13. Therefore, shareholders whose names remain registered in NEPSE by Poush 12 will be eligible to participate in the meeting.
