Chudamani Chapagain Appointed as NEPSE CEO

Chudamani Chapagain has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). The decision was made during the Cabinet meeting held on Monday. Chapagain, originally from Jhapa, has extensive experience working at Sanima Bank and was recently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Sanima Reliance Life Insurance.

Earlier, Narad Kumar Luintel was appointed as NEPSE’s CEO, but the decision was not certified by the Chief Secretary. The government withdrew Luintel’s appointment due to potential controversies, as he was also involved in the tourism business. With the CEO position vacant since Magh 25, Chapagain has now been officially appointed.
