पुँजी बजारका लगानीकर्तालाई नयाँ विकल्प दिँदै सिटिजन्स म्युचुअल फन्डले आगामी मंसिर २ गतेदेखि 'सिटिजन्स सुपर ५०' नामक नयाँ योजना बजारमा ल्याउने भएको छ। यो एक बन्दमुखी (क्लोज-इन्ड) प्रकृतिको सामूहिक लगानी कोष योजना हो, जसका इकाइहरूमा सर्वसाधारणले लगानी गर्न सक्नेछन्।
योजना व्यवस्थापक तथा डिपोजिटरी सिटिजन्स क्यापिटल लिमिटेडका अनुसार, प्रतिइकाइ १० रुपैयाँ अंकित दरका कुल १० करोड इकाइ निष्कासन गर्न लागिएको हो। कुल निष्कासित इकाइमध्ये १५ प्रतिशत अर्थात् १ करोड ५० लाख इकाइ कोषको प्रवर्द्धक संस्था सिटिजन्स बैंक इन्टरनेसनलका लागि सुरक्षित गरिएको छ। बाँकी रहेको ८ करोड ५० लाख इकाइ भने सर्वसाधारणका लागि बिक्री खुला गरिनेछ। यस निष्कासनबाट सर्वसाधारणतर्फ न्यूनतम ८५ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको पुँजी संकलन गर्ने कोषको लक्ष्य छ।
यस योजनामा लगानी गर्न इच्छुक सर्वसाधारणले न्यूनतम १०० इकाइदेखि अधिकतम १ करोड इकाइसम्मका लागि मागदाबी गर्न सक्नेछन्। क्यापिटलका अनुसार, खरिद आवेदन छिटोमा मंसिर ७ गते बैंकिङ समयपछि बन्द हुनेछ। यद्यपि, उक्त निर्धारित अवधिभित्र मागबमोजिमको पर्याप्त आवेदन नपरेमा भने ढिलोमा मंसिर १६ गतेसम्म निष्कासन खुला रहने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।
Adding a new investment avenue for capital market participants, Citizens Mutual Fund is set to issue units of its new closed-end scheme, "Citizens Super 50," to the general public starting Mangsir 2. The scheme is designed to pool public investments to generate optimized market returns over its fixed tenure.
According to the fund manager and depository, Citizens Capital Limited, a total of 100 million (10 crore) units will be issued at a par value of Rs 10 per unit. Out of the total issuance, 15 percent—amounting to 15 million units—has been securely reserved for the fund promoter, Citizens Bank International Limited. The remaining 85 million units will be opened for public subscription. Through this public offering, the fund aims to mobilize a minimum of Rs 850 million (85 crore) from general investors.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of up to 10 million (1 crore) units. The early closing date for the unit sales is set for Mangsir 7, subject to the close of banking hours. However, if the issue remains undersubscribed within this initial period, the application deadline will be extended up to Mangsir 16.
