गाँजाको व्यवसायिक उत्पादनलाई बजेटमा समावेश Commercial production of marijuana is included in the budget
सरकारले गाँजाको व्यवसायिक उत्पादनलाई बजेटमा समावेश गरेको छ। मंगलबार अर्थमन्त्री वर्षमान पुनले बजेट सार्वजनिक गर्दै गाँजाको व्यवसायिक उत्पानका लागि कानुनी व्यवस्था मिलाइने घोषणा गरे।
अहिलेसम्म गाँजाको औषधोपचार बाहेक व्यवसायिक उत्पादनका लागि खेती गर्न नपाइने कानुनी व्यवस्था छ। गाँजालाई लागुऔषधको रुपमा प्रहरीले कारबाही समेत गर्दै आएको छ। यसपटक भने सरकारले बजेटमै गाँजाको खेती गरिनेबारे कानुनी व्यवस्था गर्ने उल्लेख गरेको छ।
यस कदमले नेपालमा नयाँ कृषि उद्योगको सुरुवात गर्ने, अर्थतन्त्रलाई मजबुत बनाउने र रोजगारका अवसरहरू सिर्जना गर्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। गाँजाको खेतीलाई वैधता र नियमबद्धता दिँदा यसको आर्थिक फाइदाहरूको अनुसन्धान गर्ने र उचित नियन्त्रण र व्यवस्थापनको सुनिश्चितता गर्ने सरकारको उद्देश्य छ।
बजेटमा गाँजा समावेश गर्नु सरकारले नीतिगत रूपान्तरणको संकेत हो, जसले विश्वव्यापी रूपमा बढिरहेको गाँजाको बजारमा नेपालको पहुँच सुनिश्चित गर्नेछ। यस निर्णयले गाँजाको औषधोपचारका बाहेक आर्थिक लाभहरूलाई समेत पहिचान गरेको छ, जसले यसलाई एक लाभदायक कृषि उत्पादनको रुपमा विकास गर्ने सम्भावना छ।
The government has included provisions for the commercial production of cannabis in the latest budget announcement. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Barshaman Pun, while presenting the budget for the fiscal year, declared that legal arrangements will be made for the commercial production of cannabis.
