संसदीय छानबिन विशेष समितिले गोर्खा मिडियामा ६५ करोड रुपैयाँको अपचलन भएको निष्कर्ष निकालेको छ। यस अपचलनमा सहकारीको रकम संलग्न रहेको पुष्टि भएको छ र समितिले गोर्खा मिडियाका तत्कालीन प्रबन्ध निर्देशक रवि लामिछानेसहित चार जनालाई कानुन अनुसार कारबाही गर्न सिफारिस गरेको छ।
अपचलनको कुल रकम:
समितिको निष्कर्षअनुसार, पोखराको सूर्यदर्शन, बुटवलको सुप्रिम, काठमाडौँको स्वर्णलक्ष्मी, चितवनको सहारा, र वीरगञ्जको सानो पाइला सहकारीबाट गोर्खा मिडिया नेटवर्कमा ६५ करोड रुपैयाँ अपचलन भएको छ।
प्रचलित कानुन अनुसार कारबाहीको सिफारिस:
समितिले गोर्खा मिडियाका तत्कालीन प्रबन्ध निर्देशक रवि लामिछानेसहित चार जनालाई कानुन बमोजिम कारबाही गर्न सिफारिस गरेको छ।
सहकारीबाट गोर्खा मिडियामा कारोबार:
समितिका अनुसार, जीवी राई समूहद्वारा सञ्चालित ७ मध्ये ५ वटा सहकारीबाट २ अर्ब ५६ करोड रुपैयाँको कारोबार गोर्खा मिडियामा भएको पाइएको छ।
अन्य सहकारीमाथि पनि कारबाहीको सिफारिस:
इमेज बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी संस्था लिमिटेड, समानता बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी, सुमेरू बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी लिमिटेड, आइएमई कोअपरेटिभ्समाथि पनि कानुन बमोजिम कारबाहीको सिफारिस गरिएको छ।
सरकारलाई सिफारिस:
समितिले कानुन विपरीतको कार्य गरेका सहकारी संस्थाका सञ्चालक र निर्णय प्रक्रियामा संलग्न सबैलाई कानुन अनुसार कारबाहीका लागि सम्बन्धित निकायमा पठाउन नेपाल सरकारलाई सिफारिस गरेको छ।
संसदीय छानबिन विशेष समितिले गोर्खा मिडियामा सहकारीको रकमको अपचलन भएको पाइएको निष्कर्ष निकाल्दै संलग्न व्यक्तिहरूलाई कानुनी कारबाही गर्न सिफारिस गरेको छ। यसले सहकारीको रकमको पारदर्शिता र जिम्मेवारीबोधमा सुधारको आवश्यकतालाई उजागर गरेको छ।
The Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee has concluded that NPR 650 million has been embezzled at Gorkha Media, involving funds from various cooperatives. The committee has recommended legal action against four individuals, including the then Managing Director of Gorkha Media, Rabi Lamichhane.
Total Amount of Embezzlement:
According to the committee, NPR 650 million has been embezzled from the cooperatives, including Surya Darshan in Pokhara, Supreme in Butwal, Swarnalaxmi in Kathmandu, Sahara in Chitwan, and Sano Paila in Birgunj, into Gorkha Media Network.
Recommendation for Legal Action:
The committee has recommended that legal action be taken against four individuals, including Rabi Lamichhane, the former Managing Director of Gorkha Media, in accordance with the prevailing law.
Transactions from Cooperatives to Gorkha Media:
The committee found that out of seven cooperatives operated by the GB Rai group, transactions worth NPR 2.56 billion were made with Gorkha Media from five of these cooperatives.
Recommendation for Action Against Other Cooperatives:
Legal action has also been recommended against Image Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited, Samanata Saving and Credit Cooperative, Sumeru Saving and Credit Cooperative Limited, and IME Cooperatives, as per the law.
Recommendation to the Government:
The committee has recommended that the Nepal Government take necessary actions to bring all those involved in illegal activities, including the directors of cooperatives and those involved in decision-making processes, to justice through the relevant agencies.
The Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee has concluded that there was embezzlement of cooperative funds at Gorkha Media and recommended legal action against those involved. This underscores the need for improved transparency and accountability in handling cooperative funds.
