नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डका अध्यक्ष श्री सन्तोष नारायण श्रेष्ठज्यूले आज नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका नवनियुक्त गभर्नर डा. विश्वनाथ पौडेलज्यूसँग शिष्टाचार भेट गर्नु भएको छ। उक्त अवसरमा अध्यक्ष श्रेष्ठले गभर्नर पौडेललाई बधाई ज्ञापन गर्नुका साथै सफल कार्यकालको शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नुभयो।
शिष्टाचार भेटका क्रममा दुबै उच्चपदस्थ व्यक्तिहरूले देशको समग्र वित्तीय प्रणालीलाई गतिशील, अनुशासित तथा पारदर्शी बनाउँदै दीगो आर्थिक विकासमा योगदान पुर्याउन नियामक निकायहरूबीच घनिष्ठ समन्वय र सहकार्य आवश्यक हुने कुरामा विशेष जोड दिनुभयो। उहाँहरूबीच भएको संवादले नियामक संस्थाहरूबीच आपसी विश्वास र सहकार्यलाई थप मजबुत बनाउने विश्वास गरिएको छ।
साथै, पूँजी बजारलाई थप सशक्त, पारदर्शी र लगानीमैत्री बनाउने विषयमा समेत विशेष छलफल भएको थियो। विशेषगरी लगानीकर्ताहरूबाट समयसमयमा उठ्ने विभिन्न माग तथा सरोकारहरूलाई उचित ढंगले सम्बोधन गर्दै पूँजी बजारलाई नयाँ उचाइमा पुर्याउने विषयमा गहन छलफल भएको थियो। दुवै निकायका प्रमुखहरूले आपसी सहकार्यका माध्यमबाट पूँजी बजारमा सुधार र विस्तारको प्रयासलाई अझ सशक्त बनाउने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभएको थियो।
यस किसिमको संवादले नियामक निकायहरूबीचको सहकार्यलाई बलियो बनाउनुका साथै समग्र वित्तीय प्रणालीमा स्थिरता र विश्वास सुदृढ पार्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
The Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Mr. Santosh Narayan Shrestha, paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Vishwanath Paudel, today. On the occasion, Chairman Shrestha extended his congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure to Governor Paudel.
During the meeting, both officials emphasized the importance of strong coordination and collaboration between regulatory institutions to ensure a dynamic, disciplined, and transparent financial system that contributes to the nation’s economic development. They agreed that close cooperation among regulators is essential for building a resilient and growth-oriented financial environment.
The discussions also focused on revitalizing the capital market and elevating it to new heights. Particular attention was given to addressing the concerns and demands raised by investors from time to time in a systematic and timely manner. Both leaders acknowledged the necessity of making the capital market more efficient, transparent, and investor-friendly.
The meeting is expected to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between the regulatory bodies, fostering stability and confidence in the overall financial system.
