काठमाडौं उपत्यकामा कर्फ्यू र निषेधाज्ञा हटाइयो, जनजीवन सामान्यतर्फCurfew and Prohibitory Order Lifted in Kathmandu Valley, Life Returning to Normal
गत मंगलबारदेखि जारी गरिएको कर्फ्यू र निषेधाज्ञा शनिबारदेखि हटाइएको छ। शुक्रबार राति नयाँ प्रधानमन्त्री नियुक्त भएपछि तत्काल प्रभावबाट निषेधाज्ञा र कर्फ्यू हटाइएको हो।
शुक्रबार साँझसम्म नेपाली सेना सडकमा खटिएर सुरक्षा दिइरहेको भए पनि शनिबार बिहानदेखि भने सडकमा सेनाको उपस्थिति देखिएको छैन। तर सेनाले औपचारिक रूपमा कुनै सूचना जारी गरेको छैन। सेनाका अनुसार निषेधाज्ञा नभएको अवस्थामा सेनाको सक्रिय परिचालन आवश्यक नपर्ने भएकाले सूचना जारी नगरिएको हो।
निषेधाज्ञा हटेसँगै उपत्यकाको जनजीवन सामान्य अवस्थामा फर्किने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। यद्यपि, नेपाली सेनाले आफू स्ट्यान्डबाई अवस्थामा रहेको स्पष्ट पारेको छ। सेनाका एक उच्च अधिकारीका अनुसार नयाँ सरकार बनेसँगै निषेधाज्ञा र कर्फ्यू हटाइए पनि सम्भावित आन्दोलन वा प्रदर्शनलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै सेना सतर्क अवस्थामा तयारीसहित रहेको छ।
The curfew and prohibitory order imposed in the Kathmandu Valley since last Tuesday have been lifted starting Saturday. The decision came into effect immediately after the appointment of the new Prime Minister on Friday night.
While the Nepal Army had been deployed on the streets until Friday evening to maintain security, their presence has not been seen since Saturday morning. However, the Army has not released any formal notice. According to officials, no announcement was necessary since the removal of the prohibitory order also ended the need for active deployment.
With the restrictions lifted, daily life in the Valley is expected to return to normal. Nonetheless, the Nepal Army has stated that it remains on standby. A senior Army official confirmed that although the curfew and prohibitory order have been lifted following the formation of the new government, the Army is staying alert and prepared in case of possible protests or demonstrations.
