वाणिज्य विभागले बजारको तह, वस्तु तथा सेवाको मूल्य निर्धारणका लागि आवश्यक मापदण्ड तयार पार्न सुझाव उपलब्ध गराउन सर्वसाधारण, व्यवसायी तथा उपभोक्तासमक्ष अपील गरेको छ।
उपभोक्ता संरक्षण ऐन, २०७५ को दफा १३ बमोजिम बजारको तह र वस्तु–सेवाको मूल्य मापदण्ड निर्धारणका लागि महानिर्देशकको संयोजकत्वमा विशेष समिति गठन गरिएको विभागले स्मरण गराएको छ। उक्त समितिले अध्ययन प्रतिवेदन तयार गरेर मूल्य मापदण्ड निर्माण गर्नेछ।
विभागले हालको बजार संरचना, मूल्य निर्धारणमा देखिएका असंगति, मूल्य वृद्धि–घटावटको पारदर्शिता अभाव, उपभोक्ता अधिकार संरक्षण तथा बजार नियमनलाई प्रभावकारी बनाउन नागरिक र उपभोक्ताबाट प्रत्यक्ष सुझाव लिने निर्णय गरेको छ।
वस्तु तथा सेवाको मूल्य निर्धारणमा

प्रभावकारी नियमन,
बजार सन्तुलन,
र स्पष्ट बजार संरचना
अत्यावश्यक रहेको विभागले स्पष्ट पारेको छ।
यसैअनुसार, मूल्य निर्धारण मापदण्ड तयार गर्न आवश्यक आधार, औचित्य र सुझावहरू १५ दिनभित्र उपलब्ध गराउन सम्बन्धित सबैलाई वाणिज्य विभागले औपचारिक रूपमा आग्रह गरेको छ।
Public and Consumer Input Requested Within 15 Days
The Department of Commerce has urged the public, businesses, and consumers to submit suggestions necessary for determining market levels and standards for goods and service pricing.
According to Section 13 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2075, a committee has been formed under the coordination of the department’s Director General to prepare a study report for defining market tiers and pricing standards. The department has reminded stakeholders that this committee is now actively working on drafting the required guidelines.
The department has decided to collect suggestions directly from citizens and consumers to help prepare a draft of the market-level and price-determination standards.
It stated that uniformity, transparency, effective regulation, price control, consumer protection, and overall market balance must be ensured while defining the market structure and pricing criteria of goods and services currently in practice.
The Department has requested all concerned parties to submit their suggestions—considering the basis, rationale, and clarity needed for pricing standards—within 15 days.
