बुधबार पुनः बिहान ९ बजेका लागि बोलाइएका अन्तर्वार्तामा पनि तीनै जना अनुपस्थित भएका छन्। सिफारिस समितिले बुधबार बिहान ११ बजे सिंहदरबारमा बैठक आयोजना गरेको थियो। यस बैठकमा कानुन व्यवसायी र प्रहरी महानिरीक्षकसँग छलफल भइरहेको थियो।
कानूनी अवरोध
धितोपत्रसम्बन्धी ऐनको दफा ७ को उपदफा ४ अनुसार समितिले बोर्ड अध्यक्षका लागि कम्तीमा तीनजना व्यक्तिको नाम मन्त्रिपरिषदमा सिफारिस गर्नुपर्ने व्यवस्था छ। पाँचमध्ये तीन जना नै अनुपस्थित भएपछि कानूनी रुपमा सिफारिस प्रक्रिया रद्द हुने सम्भावना बलियो बनेको छ। उपस्थित भएका दुईजनाको मात्र नाम सिफारिस गर्न कानूनी व्यवस्था मिल्दैन।

सिफारिस प्रक्रिया रद्द हुन सक्ने सम्भावना बलियो भएपछि नयाँ प्रक्रिया सुरु गर्नु पर्ने स्थिति आएको छ। यसले बोर्डको अध्यक्ष नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया लम्बिने र कार्यसम्पादनमा अवरोध सिर्जना हुने निश्चित छ।

The selection process for the chairman of Nepal's Securities Board has been stalled. Three candidates who were scheduled for presentation and interview on Wednesday are again absent. According to sources, they were absent during the interview scheduled at 9 AM.
