Four hydropower companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) have announced dividends for their shareholders from last year's profits. The companies that have declared dividends so far are Bhagwati Hydropower, Mandu Hydropower, Supermai Hydropower, and Api Power Company. Currently, 91 hydropower companies are listed on NEPSE.

Details of the Dividend Announcements:

• Bhagwati Hydropower:

  • Dividend Rate: 14.73%

  • Bonus Shares: 4%

  • Cash Dividend: 10.73% (including tax)

  • Paid-up Capital: NPR 572 million

  • Annual General Meeting (AGM): Asoj 16, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu

  • Book Closure Date: Asoj 2

• Mandu Hydropower:

  • Dividend Rate: 12% cash

  • Paid-up Capital: NPR 1.36 billion

  • AGM: Asoj 14

  • Book Closure Date: Bhadra 31

  • Last Year's Dividend: 10% cash

• Supermai Hydropower:

  • Dividend Rate: 12.63%

  • Bonus Shares: 7%

  • Cash Dividend: 5.63% (including tax)

  • Paid-up Capital: NPR 500 million

  • IPO Allotment Date: Falgun 5, 2079

  • Dividend Distribution: After approval from the upcoming AGM

• Api Power:

  • Dividend Rate: 9.47%

  • Bonus Shares: 9%

  • Cash Dividend: 0.4737% (for tax purposes)

  • Dividend Proposal: Approved in the Board of Directors meeting on Bhadra 7

The proposed dividends will be distributed to shareholders after approval from the upcoming AGMs. The companies aim to provide a fair return to their shareholders from last year's profits according to the recent announcements.
