भोटेकोशी बाढीबाट प्रभावित नागरिकको राहत र पुनःस्थापनामा सघाउन एभरेष्ट बैंकले सरकारलाई ३ करोड ११ लाख रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी आर्थिक सहयोग उपलब्ध गराएको छ। विपद्को यस घडीमा पीडितहरूलाई मलम लगाउने उद्देश्यसहित बैंकले उक्त रकम 'प्रधानमन्त्री दैवी प्रकोप उद्धार कोष' मा दाखिला गरेको हो।
बैंकले उपलब्ध गराएको कुल ३ करोड ११ लाख ५४ हजार रुपैयाँमध्ये २ करोड ५१ लाख रुपैयाँ संस्थागत सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (सीएसआर) कोषबाट व्यहोरिएको छ। बाँकी करिब ६० लाख ५५ हजार रुपैयाँ भने बैंकमा कार्यरत कर्मचारीहरूको व्यक्तिगत तवरबाट संकलन गरिएको हो। नगद सहयोगका अतिरिक्त, कर्मचारीहरूकै पहलमा जुटाइएका अत्यावश्यक राहत सामग्रीसमेत प्रभावित क्षेत्रमा पठाउन सम्बन्धित सरकारी निकायलाई बुझाइएको बैंकले जनाएको छ।
विपद्ले निम्त्याएको मानवीय तथा भौतिक क्षतिप्रति दुःख व्यक्त गर्दै बैंकले मृतकहरूप्रति श्रद्धाञ्जली र शोकसन्तप्त परिवारमा समवेदना प्रकट गरेको छ। साथै, घाइतेहरूको शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभको कामना गर्दै यस कठिन परिस्थितिमा उद्धार तथा राहत कार्यमा खटिने सम्पूर्ण सुरक्षाकर्मी, स्थानीय तह र सहयोगी संस्थाहरूको बैंकले उच्च प्रशंसा गरेको छ।
To support the relief and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the devastating Bhote Koshi floods, Everest Bank has provided a financial assistance of over Rs 31.1 million to the government. Standing in solidarity with the victims during this time of crisis, the bank has deposited the amount directly into the 'Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund'.
Out of the total contribution of Rs 31,154,605, the bank allocated Rs 25.1 million from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund. The remaining amount of over Rs 6.05 million was voluntarily raised by the bank's employees. In addition to the financial aid, the bank has also handed over essential relief materials—gathered through the active initiative of its staff—to the concerned authorities for distribution in the affected areas.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and widespread destruction caused by the disaster, the bank offered its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. While wishing a swift recovery to the injured, Everest Bank also expressed its sincere gratitude to the security personnel, rescue workers, local government bodies, and various organizations working tirelessly on the frontlines of the disaster response.
