काठमाडौं । आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ सम्म संघीय सञ्चित कोष १ खर्ब ९६ अर्ब ३४ करोड ५९ लाख रुपैयाँले ऋणात्मक देखिएको छ । यसले सरकारले गरेको आम्दानीको तुलनामा खर्च बढी भएको संकेत गर्छ ।
महालेखा नियन्त्रकको कार्यालयका अनुसार चालु आर्थिक वर्षको आम्दानी र खर्च मात्र तुलना गर्दा आम्दानी बढी भएपनि समग्र समायोजनको हिसाबले घाटा देखिएको हो । अघिल्लो आर्थिक वर्ष २०८०/८१ सम्म यस्तो घाटा २ खर्ब २४ अर्ब रुपैयाँ पुगेको थियो, जसमा यो वर्ष करिब २८ खर्ब रुपैयाँले सुधार देखिएको छ ।
महालेखा नियन्त्रक शोभाकान्त पौडेलले शुक्रबार आन्तरिक लेखापरीक्षणको वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन र सरकारको सम्पत्तिको एकीकृत वार्षिक विवरण अर्थमन्त्री रामेश्वरप्रसाद खनाललाई बुझाएका थिए ।
प्रतिवेदनका अनुसार संघीय सरकारको नगद अवस्था पनि ३१ अर्ब ३४ करोड ६१ लाख रुपैयाँले ऋणात्मक छ । तर, विभिन्न कोषहरूको मौज्दात र एक्स्ट्रा बजेटरी निकायको बाँकी रकमलाई समेट्दा नगद तथा बैंक मौज्दात ६५ अर्ब ८१ करोड २६ लाख रुपैयाँले धनात्मक देखिएको छ ।
Kathmandu — The Federal Consolidated Fund of Nepal has shown a deficit of Rs. 196.34 billion as of the fiscal year 2081/82 (2024/25), indicating that the government’s expenditures have exceeded its total revenues.
According to the Office of the Auditor General (OAG), although government income surpassed expenditure during the fiscal year on a direct comparison, after overall adjustments, the consolidated account still reflected a negative balance. By the end of the previous fiscal year 2080/81, the deficit had reached Rs. 224 billion, showing an improvement of around Rs. 28 billion this year.
On Friday, Auditor General Shobha Kant Paudel submitted the Annual Internal Audit Report and the Integrated Annual Statement of Government Assets to Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal.
The report further stated that the federal government’s cash position is also negative by Rs. 31.34 billion. However, considering the balance in various funds and extra-budgetary entities, the cash and bank balance overall stands positive by Rs. 65.81 billion.
